http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/...-make-run-at-0-16?CMP=OTC-K9B140813162&ATT=23 You guessed it. They pick the Dolphins, along with KC and Atlanta... although this was interesting.
Jeez I think he was at 14,000 like 3 days ago, I swear it that guy is a beast. Anyway in regards to 0-16 are they crazy? Realistically by my count the Fins lost 6 games by 3 points last year so say they win half of those this year plus the 1 win last year and there is 4-12. This team may not be better than last year but I blame a lot of that on coaching so this year I could see the Fins winning 5 games or maybe 6. 0-16 that's just sensational journalism to get readers. Plus the Chiefs aren't that bad and neither are the Falcons because they play in the NFC where a win is pretty much guaranteed.
No way we even flirt with 0-16 this year. Just don't see it happening. We were hit by the perfect storm last year with injuries, inept coaching staff, and such. We will be better prepared from day 1 and, IMO, much more competitive then people will think.
I never put any stock into what Schrager says as he usually focuses more on what happened the previous year and less on what has happened since. I also find it funny that almost no media outlet is willing to place any of the blame for last year on Cameron. We could've been a 6-10 team or possibly better if Cam had any clue how to properly manage a game as a HC.
Ah just make them look bad by posting circles around them. You could probably post 3 times in the time it takes them to post 1.
LOL to this crap story... their top wideout traded away mid-season for next to nothing. So now a second round draft choice is considered "next to nothing"?!? three players were arrested, and various reserves were flat-out released. Who was arrested? and who was released that actually HELPED us? Adding insult to injury, Wes Welker, a do-everything glue guy and fan favorite traded in the offseason for a pair of non-first-round picks. Well normally you only get first round picks for players who are worth first round picks right? This article sucks... I wish people who didnt know about football didnt report on football
Breathe easy fans? Oh sure, I mean I'm winded b/c Fox Sports says we're one of 3 potential 0-16 teams. Since they predicted the floods and storms over the last 100 years correctly.... Wait...
The Dolphins will be improved next season (Still not saying too much though, LOL) and if Ronnie Brown can stay healthy I can see them getting 5-6 wins. As much as I hate to say it, the guy's a beast when healthy.
stupid article to be honest. I dont think any team will do it. I think the worst team will be 2-14 and the best will be 14-2
In all honesty, it will be tough to predict what we will do this year. There are a lot of new players, coaches and philosphies. I don't think anyone can say with any accuracy what the dolphins will do. No to mention the incredible amount of what if's surrounding this team. I think its easier to predict teams that have less player turnover, same / slightly modified gameplans and plays. Same front office and coaching personnel. No one or writer could convince me what the dolphins season will look like after 16 games. All of it will depend on too many factors to realistically forecast. So in short, we all have our opinions on what scenario might play out, as do the inept fox writers, but all depends on how it all unfolds. The certainties i do know are: i feel positive about several postions and players heading towards the season that i didn't feel positive about for the last few years, i'm excited to see how good they can be, what they can achieve and that it's not last year. Anything to take positive steps to make the phins a playoff contender every year in a few years is all good in my books. Some consistent movement and predicability would be good in my eyes, and would make sundays much more enjoyable, than constantly hoping 50 players "gel" or a qb "single handedly turns things around, because he has a cannon arm"
