http://www.palmbeachpost.com/dolphins/content/sports/epaper/2008/07/30/a1c_ginn_0731.html Good Read. "Teddy is starting to play really fast and he's putting pressure on the defense, and I really like that," Sparano said. "You can see it. It's jumping off the film how fast he's playing."
Nice read. He could be a good game breaker and field stretcher for us if we could get a QB settled on.
Good sign the Ginn is about to take "the next step" in his development as a WR. If he can get there early then all we need is a QB that can get him the ball down field. I honestly think our WR corps is going to be better, maybe even much better, then we originally thought early on in the off season. It would be nice if the game could start slowing down for Beck soon.
How do you write that, and then a paragraph later quote the Coach as saying he improved in the second half, wasn't even the same player. I just don't get these writers sometimes. Good read though, but I hate the reaching.
This is good news...although I don't expect Ted to really put it all together on the field until next season. If he can do it earlier then my expectations however I will be very pleasantly suprised.
Awesome to hear! Ginn is faster than everyone on the field. Once he was able to adjust to how slow everyone else is, he can now dominate at warp speed.
I really don't think he has a fair shot until: a) there is consistent play at the QB position, and b) the WR corps are either upgraded, or someone already on the roster steps up to be a solid consistent performer alongside him. It's great to hear that he is becoming more and more acclimated by the day, but I think it's unfair to expect him to be a consistent performer until there is actual consistency shown by the QB and the passing game in general. I expect him to make a handful of big plays this year, and more in the passing game than he did last season, but I don't expect the game to game consistency to be there yet-just my opinion.
