"I ain't saying she's a gold digger but..." with this the Pats don't have to do another dodgy thing all season and they'll still benefit from being in the heads of every opposing team visiting Gillette this year, and onwards, and the paranoia that will result.

To me it is clear that Belichick just doesn't GAF. It's pathological at this point. I'm sure the reason why Tomlin and the Steelers were so livid was because of the arrogance of the Pats to do this in the 1st quarter of the 1st game after an entire offseason of Deflategate.

I think every team that has been a victim of the Pats decades of cheating is just getting fed up with the arrogance.

And I'm personally sick and tired of the excuses and deflection that "other teams are just jealous and paranoid." We know that the Patriots have a pattern of cheating. So it isn't paranoia, it is fact. And other teams aren't merely jealous, they're fed up with the arrogance of it, and the fact that when caught the Patriots go unpunished.

And I've also had it with the deflection that "they would have won anyway" or that the final score was beyond the cheating being relevant.

First off, cheating is simply right or wrong.

Secondly, football is a game of inches. Sometimes one play is the difference between victory and defeat. Sometimes a small play made in the 2nd quarter completely shifts momentum that leads to a rout by the 4th quarter.

Belichick is a football genius. He meticulously prepares his players and staff to seek out every tiny edge. And while I think he, Brady, and others in that organization are pompous cheaters. The vast majority of the tiny little advantages they exploit are NOT the result of cheating.

But Belichick is never going to stop trying to use every little trick up his sleazy hoodie sleeve to win, and he has zero qualms when SOME of these tricks are cheating.

    1. After the Jaguars lost to the Patriots in the playoffs following the 2005 season, then-Jacksonville coach Jack Del Rio said the headsets “mysteriously malfunctioned.”

    2. In 2006, then-Lions offensive coordinator Mike Martz suspected the Patriots of preventing him from communicating with his quarterback. As reported by Paul Zimmerman of Sports Illustrated, Martz had Detroit’s offense off to a good start until he lost the ability to call plays because the communications system went out. According to that report, it happened to the Lions twice, both times in the middle of drives when the Lions were picking up steam.

    3. Bengals coach Marvin Lewis was quoted by Zimmerman as responding to Martz’s accusation by saying the same thing that happened to the Lions had happened to the Bengals as well: “Yeah, I know,” Lewis said. “Headset went out. It happened to me in Foxboro, too.”

    4. Karlos Dansby said in an appearance on PFT Live this year that he suspected the Patriots of wrongdoing in 2008, when Dansby’s Cardinals visited New England and had trouble with their coach-to-helmet communications system.

    5. The Steelers now become at least the fifth team making accusations, with the team saying that its coach-to-coach communications repeatedly faced interference from the Patriots’ radio broadcast, and that the interference would stop when a league official came to the sideline to deal with it, only to start up again when the league official walked away.
