A loss here is a season ender for any playoff hopes. A win at this point is probably a season ender too, as this team is just bad. This team has too many weaknesses, too much bad coaching, and way too tough a second half schedule.
@davehydesports: Jacksonville with 272 yds total offense in half vs. Dolphins defense. Last week, it had 265 yds for entire game vs. Carolina Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
Where are all the guys saying how important "near" interceptions are? that didn't stop the jags from scoring did it? ummm yea.....shows how much those mean
who knew Mike Wallace and Ryan Tannehill needed eachother this much. I miss that 114 rating pretty bad right now. #ButStillsandJennings
I know the defense has not looked good, but some of you guys are some serious cry babies. Already saying season over? LMAO.
Probably best to lose for better draft position because I don't see this team making the playoffs no matter the outcome today.
Terrible call by the ref. But worse call by Philbin not to save the timeout and take 10 second runoff. It would've been 3rd and 2 and they would've had a timeout to run the ball to get a 1st down and 4 shots at the endzone. They said on the broadcast Philbin watches 4 other games a week to see what coaches do for clock management. What games is he watching.... Community college recreation games?
The Jags scored only 20 points or more 4 times in 2014 and the most they scored in any games last year was 25 points against a terrible Giants defense. It took them 4 quarters to score 20 or more points last year, but only 2 quarters to reach 20 points against a this Dolphins defense. You can make all the excuses you want to, but the fact is the Dolphins defense just isn't good enough for this team to make the playoffs this year.
Defensive line hasn't shown up all year and exploded at exposing everybody else behind them Sent from my SM-G360T1 using Tapatalk
Thank goodness I cut back on the kool aid after last week. I honestly cant say im surprised after last weeks performance.
The season certainly isn't over. The Dolphins still have 14 and a half games to play. Yet you don't have to be a crybaby to realize this team isn't going to the playoffs with this defense. It was so overrated going into the season, it's ridiculous.
Why's it surprising to begin with? Dolphins are not the only team with NFL players and coaches. People expecting Miami to just walk all over teams kinda have themselves to blame. Should the Ravens fire Harbaugh? They're 0-1 and losing at Oakland.
