Great 9yd run by Luck, his recognition is flawless. His OL screws him even when they arent allowing a sack
"You guys"??? Oh i forgot....i think he needs to get better in some areas...that makes me a hater who thinks he sucks.
Right. You're focusing on what Luck does well. But we have people complaining about Tannehill last game.
Lol, this is fun! Luck is being pressured as much as any QB this week yet just made another play on 3rd down no less.
Yet he still has 1 pick and no tds. And has left two TD's on the table. And is responsible for the defense allowing 10.
By the way, on several throws tonight, luck has had more time in the pocket than Tannehill had on every dtop back combined.
Johnny Manzeil has a better QBR than Luck, Brees, Rivers...tells you alot about "stats" at this point.
Fin, just stop. You're missing the point. Intentionally, I think, which makes you look even more ridiculous.
Mustve slipped my mind, busy watching 12 do it all by himself this drive. Constant pressure?? No problem.
Right. So, all these arguments are fine, when about Tannehill. But don't you dare turn them around on Luck, or Wilson, or Rodgers.
Not too bright, huh? They started running the ball this drive. This is so hard for some to understand lmao. Can't fix stupid.
Ive never held stats in high regard anyways, I prefer the eye test. By the way, see what happens when they take ball out of 12's hands?
res, this is whats ridiculous, you trying to prove that ryan is the same level of qb that luck is just because hes not having a good game...I know what your trying to do, which is to demonstrate that without an oline they are no different..but we know that isnt the case..
Luck needs to get better at capitalizing in the red zone, he just caused a fumble at the goal line. Where's the killer instinct?
Why didn't Luck reach into his magic bag, and pull out a play fir a td, instead of allowing Gore to fumble? It doesn't matter what Luck's numbers are right now, they silk have zero points. He needs to do more.
That's not what he's trying to do. What they're trying to do is use the same ridiculous arguments against Tannehill on Luck here to show how absurd they are. The fact people are coming in to defend Luck kinda proves their point and precisely what they are attempting to show.
I know that, but the context is not the same...no'one criticizes ryan like their exaggerrations are suggesting.
Can you imagine how these guys would be hating on Tannehill if HE had zero points at this point in a game?? It would be a frenzy.
Watched many playoff games lately?? Im guessing you havent. Dude wins dd games and goes there every year...stop making a dumb comparison. Go dig up some Matt Stafford Sam Bradford tape and try this garbage....barking up the wrong tree with Luck.
How could you watch 15 years of bad qb play and not realize Tannehill's pretty good? He's one of the better things we have going for us.
Absolutely wrong. Res is using the same criticism on Luck that some people use on Tannehill and in very similar plays to show the huge amount of double standard that some people are very guilty of. Praise everything great about Luck and at the same time only see the faults in Tannehill.
Fin-Omenal and DJ: The point is, that Luck can no more do it all himself than Tannehill can. The point is that people have riduculous expectations for Tannehill, expectations that a QB widely considered by many on here to be far better, can't and doesnt even live up to...but he's not held to those expectations by you guys.
They surely do. And the fact that Luck, who is a better QB, suffers just as much from the same issues as Ryan gets criticized for, if albeit better equipped to overcome them, very much proves the ridiculousness and exaggerations of the criticism.
Problem is you/they are using a proven QB to take these jabs...a QB who has been under constant pressure...which is usually the go to excuse for all things Tanny.
Yes, they absolutely do. DJ, you just gave Tannehill a B grade for last game because he didn't get enough points.
