And yet for two straight weeks he's succumbed to the issues all around them, even while being a better QB and more proven like you say. Easily shows issues are far more problematic and impactful to QB's performance than people here are willing to afford Tannehill.

And btw, again, THEY ARE NOT JABS!!!! People are being facetious on purpose to prove a point.

First, Luck hasn't proven to be proven or drastically better than Tannehill.

Second, you have NEVER defended Tannehill from the criticisms I'm sarcastically leveling at Luck. Criticisms that supposed supporters of Tannehill, like yourself, have leveled at Tannehill constantly for three seasons.

Luck has been to the playoffs every year in his career.

And IF someone actually said Ryan had a bad game yesterday they are nuts.

So did someone actually say he had a bad game? Or did they say he needs to get better at 'X'?

Serious question, i do not really know.

Guys I congratulate you all.. I think everyone in these Tannehill threads has helped push computer science closer to creating accurate simulators of human behavior (in the specific situation of posting in Tannehill threads). Seriously, can we get some new arguments for a change?

Also, praise Luck all you like, and he deserves plenty of it, but he hasn't played well today.

Andrew Luck IS significantly better at the moment. What more proof do you need? I know what Ryan is great at good at and struggles at....if anyone were to suggest Ryan is a bad intermediatte passer?? I would be first in line to defend him.

    AHEM

    1. He should sense the pressure presnap, and run as soon as he gets the ball snapped.
    2. He should maneuver deftly in the pocket, sliding and moving until he can run.
    3. He should simply ignore the rush, and blast the ball downfield AT LEAST 40 yards, where there will obviously be an open receiver.

Ask me a hard question next time, please.

No denying that, but save about 2 teams in the league wvery single GM would take his as their QB in a heartbeat. IDC if he tosses 6 INTs and they get shut out. The jury is certainly not out on Luck.

That's not the point anyone here has tried to make. In fact, arguing how good he is lends more credence to the point being made here that even Luck, who you say "is significantly better" than Tannehill, can and succumbs to the same issues people criticize Tannehill constantly for not overcoming himself.

That has been the objective of all the sarcastic and facetious posts about him today.

Also, if Luck, who you claim is far superior to Tannehill, can't be expected to function with his line, why do you berate Tannehill for not being able to look all-world behind his?

    The double standard is crazy.

And is why people don't take you seriously when you claim to like Tannehill.

Dumbass comments like "berate Tannehill for not being All world" is why you guys who cant handle any truthful evaluations (not all ppl spew bs about his issues) look idiotic on a daily basis.

You NEED to make a strawman like that to try and save face in thess discussions, and not suprisingly some kids jump right in and assume your strawman is true and chaos inserts from there.

Ive said Ryan had. Good game and had very little to do with yesterdays loss, yet now again Im Anti Tannehill.

    Seasame Street round here.

I was trying to play the same idiotic game you guys are as all. I watch enough football to recognize what QBs can overcome a bad OL and who cant. And for the record? The ones who CAN? Are few and far between.

Did you claim that Tannehill left points on the field?
Did you claim that he needs to do more?
Did you claim that Tannehill needs to lead his team to wins?

Should I keep going? For someone who claims to support Tannehill, you have no problem highlighting issues of his that EVERY freaking QB in the league has. You have already priced my point tonight, though, with your defense of Luck, all while I was simply criticizing him with criticisms of Tannehill...which you NEVER, EVER defend.

Well, you can't play the game by defending Luck, when the whole point is that you generally agree with these riduculous arguments against Tannehill, and never dispute them when it comes to Tannehill.

Please note, that on that scoring drive, he did not throw the td to himself, but he had receivers make very nice plays after the catch to get YAC.

Go find me those posts, while youbare on that witch hunt im going to enjoy watching a truly special QB who is overcoming bad pressure and likely will win this game.

Im happy with Ryan overall, but he has alot of work to if he is going to ever be considered upper echelon.

Give credit to him, he has battled and finally his receivers made some plays to help him out. Luck probably one of the few QBs in the league who can somewhat overcome bad protection like this, Roethlisberger and Rodgers being the other 2.

Witchhunt? You're starting to understand what the constant criticism of Tannehill has liked like.

You act like we've been unfair. All I've done is turn the criticisms of Tannehill around onto Luck.

I know what you are trying to do....you are trolling Luck to try and make a point. Problem is you picked a bad QB to do that with because it is apples and oranges with their play as a whole.

so I just read the last 4 pages. It's unbelievable how biased you are AGAINST tannehill, and how badly you are defending luck.
you obviously fail to look at them objectively and I'm wondering if you can make honest fair assessments without your feelings getting in the way.

this Andrew luck love is funny. He has been overrated since he got in the league.. As he is.
hes a good young qb. I'd take him anyday

i like him, and think he's a really good qb. But if the Dolphins and colts switched divisions he wouldn't have been where he is now or had the same amount of success.

But I wouldn't have him so far ahead of tannehill.

It's actually entertaining.. Why? I think it's because we just got embarrassed against the Jags. Maybe I'd agree with you if we had beaten the Jags, but that Jags game just numbed my mind to fair or unfair criticism.

(meaning .. now's the right time to make unfair criticisms of me :))

Regardless of how you feel, we should all be puling for Luck to make a great comeback. C'mon. It's the Jets. ...or....we should be complaining about a move which at the time I hated: Trading Brandon F'ing Marshall!!!!!

    Lol

I dunno. I was down on Tannehill after Game 1, but last game he did everything he could. The oline was atrocious, Colts line is not nearly as bad. Freaking Jets sending 6/7 guys sometimes, and Luck still had more time than Tannehill facing a four man rush. Tannehill had receivers make terrible drops killing drives, and absolutely zero run game. They lost, but it wasn't Tannehill.
