Sting time in the WWE made no sense, 0-2 and terrible build imo, I am not even a Sting fan, but get him one 1 in the WWE. Looks like he is done, and rightfully so, hes 56. Wow. Also Taker/Lesnar in HITC scares me because there is a good chance that takes everything out of Taker and he wont be at WM

You know times are Bad when WWE is taking Old Storylines from TNA, Like the one with Kane, TNA did that Storyline with Abyss 3 Years ago.

Sting losing to Triple H made no sense other than continue to stroke the ego of Triple H and Vince so they can continue to talk about how much better the WWE is than WCW even though the war had been settled 14 years ago. I have no problem with Sting losing to Rollins, especially with a fluke roll up. Rollins is the WWE Champion and shouldn't be losing to 56 year old part timers.

Undertaker will still have 5 months to recover in time for WM and it's not like he's going to be taking bumps off the top of the cage or doing anything dangerous anyway. He'll be fine for WM.

Meltzer is reporting that the original main event for WM32 was going to be Undertaker/Brock but the WWE has another match in mind which is why Brock/Taker are wrestling at HiTC now. In my opinion Brock/Rock and Cena/Undertaker would be the two matches that make the most sense and could draw the biggest.

Meltzer is also reporting that Sting doesn't have a broken neck but was having trouble walking so there's fear he has some sort of spine injury. The finish to the Sting/Rollins match went on as planned but it was rushed due to Sting's injury as they had more time scheduled for the match.

Meltzer is now reporting that it is unknown on who Lesnar will be facing at WM32 at this time but that The Rock is "not in the cards" and it's highly unlikely he'd be facing Steve Austin.

If it's not The Rock, Undertaker or Austin, I wonder who else would make sense. He's never wrestled Daniel Bryan or Randy Orton. I think a Bryan match would be fun but I wonder if the WWE would be worried with Bryan's concussion issues if it would be smart to have him take a ton of german suplexes. Orton/Lesnar doesn't feel like a WM match up. I doubt it would be Sting or Triple H. Maybe Kevin Owens, Reigns or Ambrose? Owens/Lesnar match would be fun to see. So would a Balor/Lesnar match.

I doubt Brock would accept back to back losses in WrestleMania, and Stone Cold isn't going to lose in Texas, so I don't think that match happens. I strongly believe Stone Cold will make an appearance though, either jumping in the ring when a referee is knocked down, or the ultra lame way - "special guest referee". I hope it's not special guest referee, that is not exciting at all.

I'm be incredibly shocked if Austin ever wrestles again and if he ever does if it's against Brock. Austin's back/neck/spine is shot, he has 2 bad knees and needs surgery on one of his arms. Plus he's 50 now. He's not going to be taking german suplexes from Brock or being thrown around the ring. Austin will no doubt be at WM but probably will be a special guest ref or ring enforcer.

Maybe he can special guest referee the Triple H/Stephanie vs Rock/Ronda fight if that ever goes down. Austin gets knocked down for a while, rock/triple h wrestles, Stephanie slides a hammer to the ring, Austin slowly gets up, catches Triple H using the hammer on the Rock, triple h turns around and Austin stuns Triple H, Ronda has Stephanie in an armbar outside the ring, Rock drops the elbow on triple H and pins him.

Rousey isn't going to be at WM this year, she's going to be filming the remake to Roadhouse or another movie during that time.

Lennar vs. Bryan is the money match. Bryan says he is good to go and it is just a matter of WWE allowing him to work. Maybe they are saving him until early next year to help mitigate him being injured again?

    A card that has:
    Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan
Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins
    Undertaker vs. John Cena

As the top of the card, is a good one.

Braun vs Lesnar would be my pick for WM. Monster vs Monster, hyped by Bray Wyatt and Paul Heyman. Sounds like fun to me.

Agreed those 3 matches are probably the top money matches outside of getting The Rock to face Brock.

That match would be pretty awful as Braun is green as grass and isn't a good worker. Plus Brock's main appeal is picking up guys and throwing them around, he couldn't do that stuff with Braun so it would just be another kick/punch match.

I think Brock is good enough to make the match work. It wouldn't be a spot fest, but a slow story telling match. Can Brock beat the beast? Braun can take a suplex or 12.

Plus, you have the rest of the Wyatt family to use. Story in is simple, they jump Brock costing him the tittle yet again. He gets revenge by crippling the rest of the family one at a time. Then you have Brock v Braun with a crippled Wyatt family on the outside in a no DQ match. That can be Booked for either one to win without killing the others momentum. Bruan takes a crutch/cast shot meant for Brock etc...

  15. Samphin

Samphin Κακό σκυλί ψόφο δεν έχει

I don't think you use Brock on Braun. The guy has a limited amount of appearances and is a special event attraction. You have to squeeze as much juice out of that as you can, which means pairing him up with Names like John Cena, HHH, Undertaker, etc.

And if you are going to utilize younger talent, you make sure it is your A-plus ones like Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

Brock vs. Bray Wyatt would be more likely than Brock vs. Braun, especially at Wrestlemania. Braun vs. Brock is, at best, an off month PPV match, and more realistically, a Monday Night match to further a Bray-Brock campaign.

Meltzer is reporting that the plans right now is for The Rock to face Triple H at WM32. I really think this is a complete waste of a Rock match. They wrestled each other a million times during the Attitude Era who really wants to see this again especially since it won't benefit another. I think Rock/Brock is a much bigger draw and interesting match. I don't understand why that's not being discussed unless Rock doesn't want it to happen.

Some more WWE news for today:

The WWE is staying in Brooklyn for Summer Slam for the next 2 years due to the huge success of the NXT, PPV and RAW the night after all being sell outs. I think that's awesome as the NY crowd was great all weekend.

Also Hornswoggle just got hit with the WWE Wellness Policy and is gone for 30 days. To be honest I forgot he was even still employed by the WWE. I wonder what he was hit for? Maybe uppers? Get it? Kind of a height joke right? High five? Anyone?

    Funny Story!

    On this weeks "Cheap Heat".....

You remember "Ashley" from Raw this past week that got introduced as the "HR Director of WWE"?

Well...she is actually...."Ashley....the actual HR director of WWE." They flew her in from their HQ. Nice touch I think.

So this is interesting, apparently Cena is going to be taking time off after the HiTC PPV and has been pulled from all live events and house shows until December 30th. Wonder if he needs some type of surgery otherwise you'd think the WWE would want to keep their top draw front and center with ratings in the crapper. Either way this is the time for the WWE to showcase some guys and try to get them over. Should be interesting to see how they write him off.

EDIT: Looks like he's taking time off for personal reasons.

And some people wonder why TNA is close to bankruptcy. But then again Kane in 2015 is going to be in a WWE title match at a PPV, while the Big Show was in the high profile match in the WWE Network special this weekend.

Not a knock on Hardy but more like the state of TNA if he's their main champion.

I hope he cleaned up his life, he got pretty out there in what 2010ish when he was trying to get fired from the WWE. Ditto for Jeff too.

I agree completely with you. I always liked Hardy and thought he was a valuable guy to have on the roster as a mid carder who gets a pretty good pop and can have average to good matches each night. I don't blame him for being frustrated with his character direction though at that time either.

Reading some rumors this morning that both Paige and Cesaro are in the proverbial dog house, which is a big reason why Paige was booked to be jobbed out by Natalya last night. I guess they got off script or something, so they are being punished.

I don't watch much of Raw these days, as I just can't sit through 3 hours of what it has become. From the recent ratings slide, I guess I'm not the only one. WWE needs to get back to a less scripted environment and let these guys be themselves out there, as opposed to punishing the people who are actually legitimately entertaining. I guess there was an HR Review last week? On air? Who would book and watch this crap?

I am still enjoying the network - the NYC Show was fine for what it was; a glorified house show. It was fun but ultimately pointless, as no storylines were advanced. I'm also digging a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff that has been put on the Network recently. The NXT Panel was really entertaining and I'm currently watching the 24 documentary on NXT Brooklyn (there may be a theme here). I don't mind watching the PPVs - "Live Specials" - but the rest of the main product is just in shambles right now.

Also, I find the Susan G. Komen thing completely tacky. I thought it was disgusting when the NFL went pink, but at least they aren't slapping Komen's logo everywhere. Komen is a complete sham.

Interesting about Paige and Cesaro, although can't one argue that Cesaro has always been in the dog house. I wonder if he's in the dog house because he's too swiss.

Yeah I agree with everything else you mentioned. The current product is boring. The talent is there but the storylines are uninteresting and never advance, there's no direction, the continuation of the 50/50 booking that doesn't get anyone over. I could go on and on.

I didn't watch the MSG show simply because I've been told it was fine but basically a house show where nothing happened. I'm actually surprised that the WWE didn't pull the trigger on a Dudley Boys tag title win or The Undertaker coming out to attack Lesnar. Really anything to get people talking about the show. The Network does a great job with their documentaries, I really only watch those and old Nitros/RAWs/PPVs or a countdown if it's on the live feed and I have it on in the background while doing stuff.

RAW was awful last night. They hyped up the US Title match to the point that you thought a returning superstar might show up, or perhaps Cena would lose the title (which makes sense given the awful situation he has to deal with moving forward with his family).

    Instead, we got Big E...

    yay.

I like New Day, but that challenge went over like a fart in church. That should NOT have been the main event.

    Extremely boring.

The good news, I guess, is that in Cena's absence, the rumors are that Dean Ambrose may get elevated to the main event scene for awhile as a trial run.

    Yay!

    What's up with Cena's family?

I'd either put the US title on Ambrose or Owens and let them run the US Challenge for awhile to continue to get themselves and the title over. Obviously if Owens wins it would unify the titles.

The scuttlebutt is that his brother is not doing so well with his fight against brain cancer. Rumor is that John is taking time off to spend as much time with him as he can. If true, that is absolutely the worst thing to go through. That type of cancer is extremely hard to deal with towards the end, as someone who has dealt with it, myself.

Yeah that's rough and too bad. Good for John being able to take the time off then to help out.

I actually think the time off could benefit Cena. Hopefully he comes back with some changes in his character, I know it's a long shot but he really could use some tweaks. I'd love to see him come back with different ring gear other than the jorts.

If you are a Wrestling fan and did not see TAKEOVER: RESPECT, last night...I hope somebody kicks you firmly in the balls.

Bayley vs. Sasha Banks (30 min. Iron man match) was as good a main event as I have seen all year.

Asuka's debut might have been the best debut I have ever seen. She is as good a performer as there ever has been in the "Diva's" / Women's division.

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Tourney Finals were also great.

    Just a spectacular show.

Well, maybe it isn't John's brother, afterall.

Rumors are swirling that he is set to host a fitness themed reality show on FOX.

If true, I am happy that maybe his brother IS doing okay, after all. Also, if true, it's the funniest non-story that turned into a story, in a long time.
