Is joe Philbin fireable after this loss. If they lose of Course? I really think it's going to be a tough game to pull out.

The Dolphins' offense is looking really piss-poor so far. If that doesn't change prepare for a long season. And the defense isn't looking like anything special either.

no albert no fox no cam misi is hurt again.
The Bills were going to the superbowl after they beat the colts, then looked like **** against the pats, there was no furious comeback attempt it was the pats taking the foot of the gas.
They are lucky our key players are injured we don't have a healthy TE and miller ankle sprain also RT ankle sprained, and with what the OL is going to be RT is going to need his legs.

I think you're giving the Bills too much credit. I've seen both their games multiple times. A healthy fins team should beat them. Of course we aren't healthy but at home, season opener, I gotta think the defense will show up. Call me crazy but we should be able to hold them to under 20. If the D gets run over at home when we know they're going to run will be a bad sign.

Not sure I understand. If this game is so tough to pull out then why fire the coach if they lose?

Both of our games were on the road, and you cannot predict how this team will play at home. It is possible the team comes out flat, but we should wait and see.

My biggest concern this week is the offense. They've struggled early on and Thill has shown over and over he's not going to win you a ton of games on his own. He needs a running game, at least a semi running game and I just don't see it with this oline and backs. Fins are going to need to play tough D and create some short fields for the offense. Kicker has to be on point this week. Can't afford a missed fg. Gotta be aggressive in the red zone and hope to win a 20-17 type game. Look for Cameron to have a huge game if he's healthy. The Bills soft under belly on D is the TE and Cameron is a big time mismatch. Bills are also without their best S imo.

The OFFENSE has shown that it needs a running game to be effective. Tannehill is part of the offense, yes, but the offense as a whole struggled, not simply Tannehill not getting it done.

No not this soon but if things are looking pretty bad a month or so from now who knows. Let's hope things start looking up instead.

Do you not recall Miami's home games last year? As much as I hate myself for saying it, you should read Armando's column today. This team damn near ALWAYS comes out flat. It's not a prediction in as much as I'm stating the obvious.

What happens when they ram the ball down our throats for 7 though? There is more chance of that than a stop imho.

I would be more then surprised if it wouldn`t be like that. We made some big Roster moves in the offseason and the team is much better on paper but this team looks worse then last years on the field. Through all those years we always had a good d, and now it looks like we don't have that anymore either. Allthough it is still early this season, for me it's kind of over already, cause I won't believe in them no more as long as Mr. Queesy is our coach.

Need some of our newly acquired receiving talent to bust out this week, and compensate for some of our early setbacks.

Someone to step up, and combine with Landry to move the ball and chains downfield. Another target for Tanny to rely on, to help keep drives alive,

and the defense reasonably fresh, rather than overtaxed and gassed on our home field.

You're right, there have been a lot of slow starts at home the past few years. What I'm going off of in this particular game is that it's the home opener, think NE week 1 last year. Renovated stadium, louder, hated rival coming in, etc. I'd be surprised if the team wasn't ready to play today.

I thought we came out flat in that game then played much, much better in the 2nd half.
    Weren't we behind at halftime?

Yes, it was 20-10, the Pats looked like they were going to run away with that game, then the Miami heat took over and the Pats were sucking wind bad in the 2nd half, which is where Moreno got nearly all his yards last year, in the 2nd half of that game he got like 95 of his 148 yds.

I don't buy into this idea that certain fans can sense a teams pulse from at home on their couches. Quite often this sense of "flatness" probably comes down to just some missed plays by our team, or some great plays by their team. Tannehill is errant on a few passes early in the game against Oakland..team is flat. Carr drops a few perfect passes in the bucket...team is flat. San Diego rattles off a long opening drive...team is flat.

Could the Patriots have looked more flat in the start against Buffalo allowing them to drive for a TD score with ease? Things happen, even when your team is obviously jacked for the game.

If our offense was as productive as New Englands in the first quarter there would be no flat narrative. Is Brady the difference both with his play and intensity level? Is it gameplanning? A little bit of both? I'm going with its a little bit of both.

I think probably the most reliable measures you're going to get of "flatness" (or the lack thereof) are how surely the team is tackling on defense, and whether it can get into a rhythm on offense. Both have been lacking early in games so far this year

Our DEs need to step up and set the edge for our rush defense to succeed.

That'd be a great start. Throw in some penetration from the DTs and we'll be in good shape.

I agree that it is ludicrous that fans believe they know the pulse of the team, but Philbin keeps mentioning quick starts. He is setting the narrative, and I hope the head coach knows the pulse of the team.

Went up 7-0 off a blocked punt, fell behind 17-7. But it wasn't an issue of being flat it was Wallace and Miller fumbling plus a Tannehill INT.

No, it does not look piss poor. The offense moves the ball. They score points. They need to do better.

and our tackles need to rush strait upfield, beat their man, and stop worrying about getting to a spot in the scheme..because thats what they've been doing..
