Suh was a pro bowler in Detroit, he comes to Miami and is no longer a stud.

We draft Dion Jordan and WR Parker in the first rounds. I know Jordan is suspended but if he was on a different team he would be a star by now. And Parker would be contributing and be a factor on any other team but the Dolphins. Why do we draft in the first round but never get production from our picks?

Landry is the only player playing like a star. Imagine if he was on another team, he would be a mega star. He would be one of the top WR in the league but since he is on the Dolphins he will be held down and not make it big in the NFL as long as he wears the aqua and white.

Why is it when players play for the Dolphins they are no bodies but when they leave, they make a name for themselves and become stars? Wes Welker and so many other players come to mind.

Suh is doing his job getting double and triple teamed. We can't stop an outside run. I agree with everything else.

Ding, ding. Ding. At least one other person realizes that Suh is doing his job. Grimes and Jones performed well. ....... (Silence) ........ (Silence) ...... Yup, that is it.

So if your theory is correct, how come Davone Bess is out of the league?

Stop it. You guys see one replay where Suh has 3 guys giving him attention and Suh is all the sudden doing his job? If you guys believe that, you guys are simply clueless. Hes been atrocious this year, and it starts first and foremost with his effort.

I can imagine Landry on the Giants roster or as a Cowboy (with a healthy Romo & line). Would be owning the league.

Wallace has 12 catches, for 12.5 ypc, and a long of 22, no tds. Looks like the same receiver as in Miami. Averaging slightly less right now per catch than he did in Miami last season. Has Dansby been awesomesince he left? Marshall has been good...of course, Marshall's biggest issue here was the constant dropping of tds.

    Easy

    Culture and expectation levels

It is why I go crazy when I see guys on here having that as their expectation level ----- they are just happy to make the playoffs. If you set that mentality or expectation level low chances are you will always under achieve.

If you want to achieve say a 8 you set the expectation at 10 or 11. If you want a 12 set it at 15. Same in football set the expectation at the playoffs and we will surly achieve 7-9 8-8. Set it at the super-bowl and you'll probably make the playoffs.

When you over achieve is when you have culture that has dictated high levels for long periods of time. There is all of a sudden a super-bowl year staring you in the face. You are not doing anything different it just happens.

He would excel because it would be expected of him. Whole different mentality on those teams. They talked about it the other day. What wearing the "star" means. Always has been the upper eshilon of Pro Football

Can't be taught. You either have it or you dont.

    Shula had it

    Landry had it

    Bellicheck has it

    Pete Carroll has it

    Lombardi had it

Um no, Suh is constantly double teamed. I respect your opinion but please watch closer.

Just getting double teamed does not mean he is doing his job. Great players beat double teams. GREAT players disrupt, through double teams. Not only is he doing neither. He is flat out in shut down mode in double teams, 98% of the time this year.

That isn't doing his job. We could of gotten plenty of players for remarkably cheaper, to do what hes done so far this year.

I definitely agree with this. Teams are killing us on sweeps and outside runs. You'd think the d would at least adjust to that. I think we gave up something ludicrous like 9 yards a carry on outside runs. Bring a safety or something. "Should" be a simple adjustment.
