I found a cool stat that Rodgers is 38-5 in Lambeau in the last five years and one of those losses came against the Miami Dolphins at home in 2010. Your not a bad football team. Keep your heads up guys. You had us beat last year if it wasnt for your coach. I think you guys should part ways with Philbin when I hear players are quitting on him. I hope the Dolphins get back on track and beat the Jets this Sunday. It is far from over and you guys can still make a run at it. Dont let New England be successful. Man I hate those guys. Much love and God bless!
You know I love ya but you're like a Dolphin fan version of a snowbird. You get to come in here in the off season when the weather is good and Dolphin fans are all excited, and then when it gets hotter than the devil's anus after taco night you get to go back up north where the streets flow with touchdowns, titties, beer and cheese kurds then maybe once in a while send a telegram saying "Keep your head up guys! I'm right there with you!" On some level, I love you. You should know that. But on another level, **** you man. Seriously. I don't mean that in a mean-spirited way. I just find it funny.
Yeah it's pretty sad. We have a bunch of fans ready to quit on the season after three games. They say the team is mentally weak. The irony.
Well after a loss I dont want to bother you guys much. Im just trying to help you guys out, not hurt you at all.
Well maybe your the exception. If my team is doing bad Im still going to be nice to opposing fans or try to be. I understand though cause losing stinks.
Don't take that the wrong way. It's good natured ribbing, that's all. I don't want you to feel unwelcome. I just find the situation funny because it does feel like a pat on the head from a Packers fan who doesn't necessarily go through the same pain as we do.
Yeah we have been through the same pain. The NFC Championship game last year. You guys have won a super bowl. You arent a bad franchise.
If you want to help us out, how about trading franchises. Convince the multiple owners in Green Bay to trade their entire team and coaching staff for the Dolphins team and coaching staff. We will throw in our owner for free. Perhaps you have been so caught up in the Packers this year and just haven't been following the Dolphins closely. Because that would be the only way you could miss the fact that the Dolphins have been terrible so far this year. While a lot of that is on the coaching staff. The players have also been responsible, because they just aren't getting the job done on the field.
The NFL should amend its rule precluding public ownership of NFL teams. The Packers are publicly owned (they were granted an exemption because they were already publicly owned before the rule) and I think we'd have better management if the Dolphins were too.
LOL. There is literally nothing you can say that doesn't dig you further into the hole of looking like a rich man consoling a poor man about being poor. "I feel you. I remember one time I forgot my wallet at the train station. Awful. I had to have our Norwegian nanny come pick me up, only the Bentley was in the shop so she had to pick me up in the Range Rover and I had to sit in the back with the car seat because she was on her way to dropping my wife off at the masseuse. And when we got back and had sex she made a joke about my forgetting the condom, even though I had one right there near the nightstand. Embarrassing."
Trade Rodgers for Tannehill and I guarantee it'll be Packers fans talking about how they're staff, HC, etc, sucks.
The last time the Dolphins won a SB was in 1974. That was 41 years ago and most of the posters on this forum weren't even born then. So comparing losing an NFC Championship game last year to the Dolphins losing to the Jags and Bills this year is almost laughable. I know you mean well, but it is more like having salt poured in a wound. When as a Packer fan, you keep telling us that everything will be in okay. Because after more than a decade of this same BS, most of us aren't buying what your selling.
I dont agree with that. Mccarthy is a damn fine playcaller and always has been..there's a reason the Packers stay good despite injuries (even when rodgers goes down)
Not true. In 2013, the Packers were 6-2 when Rodgers was lost for the rest of the season to injury. They went 2-5-1 over their remaining eight games without Rodgers. McCarthy is a far better HC than Philbin, but without Rodgers, he would be on the hot seat in Green Bay.
Disagree. That's like saying Phil Jackson is a great play caller when he's calling plays for Michael Jordan. Rodgers is the best QB I've ever seen. The Packers are scoring a ton of points bc Rodgers executes, not because the play calls are so good. Just my opinion of course. But watch how often Rodgers breaks the design of the play and creates something basically on his own. I think you'll be impressed.
Hey Fin fans you guys have had the better of my Pack over the years. You lead the series 10-4. CK since you guys went undefeated in the early 70s we have had 2 superbowls. That isn't very good for over 40 years. We're not as great as you guys are making us out to be.
Is McCarthy still calling plays? I thought I heard Al Michaels say he'd turned that over to his OC..?
Um, wait a minute here. You drilled it into our heads relentlessly that we`re not a very good team talent wise. Why shouldn't some fane give up on the season if theres no hope, according to your theory and tape scrutinizing..??????
I think his game day management leaves a lot to be desired. So does Andy Reid's. I think the feeling is that when a guy spends his time gameplanning and calling plays he can miss things like clock management, etc. I think there is something to that.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe my point is that the players are not playing well, as opposed to just laying down and quitting on the coach. No. This is not a good team right now. However, if Albert, Wake, Vernon can return to health and good form, don't you think that changes things?
If I recall they signed Flynn midseason and still managed to win 2 games, tie 1 and ultimately still win their division. Regardless, your original comment that the Packers offense would fail with tannehill instead of rodgers at the helm? Bull****. It wouldnt be the prolific powerhouse kf rodgers but they'd be fine. Tannehill is a good starting qb, no he's not rodgers, but I don't think packers fans would be calling for their coaches head due to that one switch.
Jw's original comment implied that the Packers would suck with tannehill. That's nonsense. Not the same powerhouse, that's very true, but that they'd suddenly start sucking? It was an unfair comment towards tannehill, is what I'm getting at.
I can't speak for him, personally I don't think they'd suck with Tannehill. But I don't think they'd be winning the division every year while RT developed into a good QB. Rodgers didn't start till his 4th season, and even then he couldn't get past the Vikings till Favre retired.
Actually Piston Honda made the comment, but I don't disagree that the Packers wouldn't be nearly as effective with Tannehill as they are with Rodgers. Rogers is the best QB in the NFL and Tannehill isn't. Tannehill is a middle of the pack starter in the NFL. That basically means he is probably better than the lower tier QB's in the NFL, but I don't think the Packer fans would be happy with Tannehill as their QB,if that means they would end up not having Rogers.
there werent many if any that had ty montgomery higher in the draft..didnt buy the senior season slump thing, this is a good football player with pro agiity...doesnt suprise me one bit that he's playing and playing well as a rookie.
It's like we're in here morning the loss of a close friend and you consol us by telling us about how you lost a goldfish once. Lol
