Much respect man, if I'm a gm, I take that dude into all my interviews for any and all prospects..

Just wanted to give the man his own thread to pay him our respects..

He needs to be the prototype for intangibles moving forward, those dudes are out there, just have to prioritize what your looking for when building a team..

No. We need players with talent. Not people who are 4th wr who act like they are a #1 option. Juice is about the most overrated dolphin player there is right now. He is not good. 4 rec on 12 targets for 40 yard today. 9 ypc last year. He is a poor mans Devone Bess right now.

Obviously you need talent, but I think with this team in this town, with this culture, you've got to try some things differently, and what I mean by that is if I have two players and one has a bit more talent but the other has the toughness and passion of a Landry I'm gonna sacrifice that bit of talent.

As much as I love him as a player and as much as I've been recently been saying how he's been our whole team this year.....I hate the nickname.

On this I can agree. His heart and fight are what we should all want from all of our players every game

I like Landry but Devate Parker has to be better than him. Landry is a good slot receiver, not great.

Of course you would, and so would Philbin, which is why this team has no talent.

Are you guys seriously banging on the ONLY guy that plays with any fire on this entire lousy team? Poor Mans Devon Bess? 3rd or 4th receiver on a great team?

    Wow. Unbelievable.

Landry is probably overrated by Dolphins fans, and underrated by everyone else. His tantrums today didn't look good, and it took Greg Jennings to pull him aside, at one point, and talk him down. Even so, he blew up later and got himself a penalty.

But still...I don't know how you can bust on a guy who continues to churn uphill, despite knowing it is fruitless. Love his grit and determination.

Landry reminds me of Julian Edelman. More of a nuisance than a real threat. Can't deny his passion for the game though.

Landry's the man. Great leader, brings that competitive spirit to an otherwise dead offense. But it's not out-of-line to wonder whether this offense can succeed with him as the focal point. We may be better off having him see fewer targets, given his limited athletic ability and poor ypc efficiency. Seems like we're manufacturing touches for him as well, which may not be a great idea. I'm hopeful that Stills' showing today makes an impact on targets and distribution going forward.

Heck of a player with some nasty in him. I thought today he showed a bit of frustration which I think is good because it shows he really wants to win. Wish more players on this team gave as much effort on every play as he does. Fun to watch him juke.

Loves me some Landry...the kid is a fireplug and a joy to watch...

But he shouldn't be our #1 option...and he shouldn't get a lion's share of the targets.

I'm grateful as hell he's on the team though.

Landrys only our #1 target because lazor calls at least 5-7 wr screens a game. Admittedly that has something to do with our oline but he does it on 3rd and long too. It's rubbish.

I'd like to see Matthews get more touches, he's not as shifty as Landry but he has that bull in a China shop vibe. I don't get why Jarvis is the only guy who Lazor makes a concerted effort to get the ball to. At this point using him a a decoy might be just as effective.

I dont anyone suggesting that, I think because of the oline problems and the propensity for the qb to look short he has to be it for now, let parker mature some and we'll have a nice inside out attack for the future..Have cameron as the tight end, were really set at those positions.

 Brotha' It's the little double murder thing from the other player with the same nickname. Actually, in this case, it's not so much the murder thing. It's because it's been used. Not original. No biggie. Still dig that biotch!

agreed, some saw what matthews could be if given opps, all offseason we were talking about the natural talent he possesses...when you do a rewatch {if you can bear it} watch the route he runs where the deep PI gets called....dude is coming very hard, like real hard, no'one would of stopped him on that route, it was beautiful, bull in china shop beautiful..scary for a dback.

if he'll sign here with a new coach we'd actually be set at receiver and tight end moving forward, and id be happy with the talent level.

If I was the owner of the Dolphins right now I'd be tempted to fire everyone on that flippin team except Landry.

Remember the OL in Hard knocks who decided to retire instead of leaving embarrassing film out there for all to see? Whole GDed team needs to throw their jerseys on the ground and walk outta the facility with their pants around their ankles ya ask me.

That's what you had to do on my golf teams back in the day if your drive didn't make it past the ladies tees.(And who are you to be judging on me anyhoo buster?) Which is the equivalent of this supposedly professional football teams effort to date.

He called it three times in a row. And 3 times it almost got picked. Lazor is trying to run the Ducks O and I don't think we could beat them right now.

Every other pro team dun figgered it out y'all!!!! Play PRO ball dang it!

    Hopefully that's simple enough.

Landry has fire that dont come out of too many people. As a matter of fact, he is the ONLY guy on the Phins worth anything right now. He does so much for us. And blame Lazor for his YPC, Landry can run deep routes, he did it in college, our idiot OC who refuses to run the ball also chosses not to give Landry any routes further than 5 yards.
