I think the fact that the story is being supported by Omar "Nanee has no holes in his game" Kelly says everything.

A lot asked who is ryan tannehill, they literally didnt know of his existence.

A lot said with the way Tannehill is playing lately he will soon be earning a practice squad check himself.

Who does he think he is, hes no peyton/brady, they dont speak to their players like that and a guy like tannehill has no reason to.

Some responded hes an overpaid quarterback with a hot wife.

    Overpaid and overrated.

    And on and on

Tanny needs to be careful, we can just walk away from him after 2016. I would have liked to see what tannehill can do with even an avg oline protecting him.

When you remove emotions and judge him on his own play and not make excuses for him, its easy to see he's a mediocre QB. I guess when youre used to the scrubs we ve had at QB since Marino, even a mediocre QB like Thill will have his fanboys who thinks every inaccurate pass is the result of the oline, hc, oc, whoever...oh I almost forgot the "every qb misses throws" excuse.

If we end up with a top 5 pick and theres a potential stud QB we have GOT to take him. You cant pass on a potential stud QB just because you have a QB who isn't terrible. We need to do better than average.

Tension on the practice field ? Sources say Tannehill & practice squad player...

Someone needs to tell me how this story makes sense when we don't even practice on Saturdays and the practice squad doesn't travel with the team.

EDIT: PS guys were able to go to London, so they were there.

However, it was still a walk-thru practice. Which means there wasn't any competition. Players wear sweatpants and sunglasses.

If Tannehill said those things (and that's a big if) he most certainly said them jokingly and not mean-spirited.

Non-story if I ever saw one. Unless the part about Philbin means he told them guys not to intercept him...in that case, WTF?!??!!

Aside from that, who gives a ****...we don't know what those players first said to RT...we've all seen his wife, I think you can go from there with your own imagination.

Yup. It's likely that one of the PS guys picks him off. Runs his mouth. Ryan responds with this...

As someone that isn't completely sold on Ryan, this story is non news. PILE ON.

Way off topic, but I clicked on the story from FB and there is a video at the bottom. In that video, a dude actually suggest Nick Saban could be the hire at the end of the season. Wouldn't that be something...

I really and truly hope this isn't true. Tanney has at least been a total class act these last 3 years, no sense into tarnishing that rep over a practice incident.

That said...if this is Ryan at his worst then he is still a choir boy compared to other QBs in the league (Cam Newton). Heck Dan would have had a meltdown if he was behind this o-line so we should try to cut Ryan a bit of slack on a questionable quote.

Dan would be Dan behind this line. I don't think anyone would know how bad this line is.

If Dan were behind this line:

    - There would be audibles
    - There would be at-the-line protection adjustments
    - There would be a natural feel for pass rush (knowing when to step up or sidestep)

The O-line would still be who they are, but Dan's pocket presence would elevate their play to at least serviceable.

By the way, in case anyone REALLY wants to act like Russel Wilson is overrated?? Hopefully you are watching what he does for his offense and his team. Three times already he has eluded a would be sacked and MADE PLAYS!!

Would love over to have this kid on my team.

If only we could go back and take Russell, he is just clearly better and I know our OL sucks, but I actually watch every game of every week and I can tell you that just about every teams OL is seemingly struggling except for a handful of teams.

Tannehill is average like everyone else on this team except Landry. Im not surprised he made these comments, seems like this new contract inflated his head and now he is regressing as a player and if these comments are true, he already thinks he is better than he actually is.

Well thats gonna happen with that OL, it's what he does in between that makes him exceptional. A playmaking QB is what you need when your OL can't block for sh-t.

This is is something that folks don't want to hear...there are a lot of teams with struggling OL's....you gotta recognize the rush and react. Not many qbs can overcome a bad OL, but the true franchise qbs for the most part seem too.

I don't routinely see other teams allowing opposing defenses to get pressure with only four rushers, which our oline loves to do.

I am inclined to believe this story, especially now that Jackson has chimed in.

Here's what pisses me off (and I have been saying this since we have had Tannehill at QB), is that HE IS NOT A NATURAL LEADER, and this (there is some truth to it) is not what a leader says or does. You stand above what guys on the practice squad say or do. Getting in a pissing match with guys who are obviously below you in the pecking order is a bad display of character. This is not a quality you want in the supposed "face of the franchise".

I can't wait for Ajayi to get back so we can start running the damned ball. The less Tannehill throws, the better.

If you can't let your 100M QB make adjustments at the LOS, then something is very very very wrong. I'd love clarification on this, although it seems that after the 2nd consecutive CB blitz somebody might figure it out and adjust.

    its a huge problem honestly.
