I was thinking about our draft for next year. And that got me thinking about our new 2nd round pick. And that got me thinking about JT.

He said he wouldnt do anything if it wasn't in the best interest of the Dolphins. He also said he wants to win. Well, now those two things are mutually exclusive. He can't win without hurting the Dolphins. I want JT to get to win, just like I want Zach to. But if it's Cowboys VS Redskins, I'm taking the Cowboys because it helps our draft. If JT makes it to the playoffs, I'll support him and Zach equally from there on out, because our pick would already be locked in the bottom 12. It's just hard to root for JT to win in the regular season, knowing that the more the Skins lose, the closer we get to a first round pick.

I just find the entire situation to be creepy.

eh its not so bad. i cant imagine the Skins picking in the highest quarter of the round. and its not like the Patriots rooting for San Fran to stink it up, for that high first rounder. Not THAT big of a deal. pick 40-something/fifty something...not really something to get all crazy about and throw stuff at the TV cuz the skins eek out a close game.

dont give it too much thought.

I wish JT the best and I hope he is successful in WSH with a championship .... just next year. He says he will play out his contract which is two years left so he will have an title shot opportunity next year as well. Make it happen the year when we don't have your second round draft pick.

I think the more pressing long term thought for me is, i hope we draft someone with that pick who will contribute as much as JT did when he was here. That would be truely win win. No matter where we pick in the second round.

My three personal goals for the Dolphins this season:

    1) Beat the Jets
    2) Learn to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball
    3) End the season with a better record than the Redskins

If you don't mind me adding,

    4) Give John Beck the keys to the future.

That would be very hard to find and not a very high chance of happening (someone contributing as much as Jason).

I wouldn't worry about where the skin's finish, knowing snyder if I told him a blue M&M threw for 300 yards he probably give us a 1st & 3rd and pay the nut $6m per!

:sidelol: we starting already? I got withdrawl symptoms!!!

    Hey Alen1,

Would you give your son or daughter the keys to the car, if they couldn't drive. :sidelol:
