The fact that he didn't attack anybody's paycheck makes this, very much, a non-story.

Pretty much. I'm more upset he got so upset defensive players had to come up and console him. We got ourselves a fragile one!

Yeah, Rock referenced the paycheck comment in that post. I took Fins response to be about that.

Who says it was "consoling?" I think it was congratulating, as they were happy he did it.

    Hahahaa.

You expect us to believe you didn't think it was a real practice and that Tannehill didn't say something about some guy's paycheck, and what you're really upset about is that he made some nothing comment about a trophy to a practice squad guy who was acting up during a walk through before a division game? Really?

    Hahahaha.

You, Jdang, Finster, Fin-O.....and Skip Bayless. What a crew.

I am more upset that the defense thought it was the right time to elevate their game in a walk through instead of the sleep walking they have done during the games. And the fragile comment is lame... Really lame.

I suppose you think you just scored internet points or something.

Remember that time you were on here bragging about how great you were at poker and then you got your *** handed to you in that tournament..

That happens to you every time you argue with me.

I was being facetious. If you couldn't tell by my tone. "We got ourselves a fragile one!"

I'm painting a picture, of Tannehill, on the sideline, crying.

Tannehill should be pissed. Scout team is supposed to be out there giving a look. Not using their knowledge of the offense to frustrate the team's preparation. I understand guys wanna make plays, with thee situation at CB a few good practices could easily lead to some playing time. But during a walk thru? It's a bad look.

Again, how is this relevant? The only verified statement from Tannehill was in relation to a 'scout team trophy case.' Are you interested in simply arguing semantics? The practice squad isn't big enough to roster an entire scout team defense. It literally could not matter less whether the player was a practice squad member or a backup playing on the scout team.

Congratulations on pointing out Matt Chatham's incorrect characterization of our roster. If only it actually mattered.

But by all means, continue on with your super hot takes.

That was just a reply to the poster I was replying to, who challenged the veracity of my statement (I said Chatham is wrong because he said it was a PS squad guy, the poster said he said no such thing, I proved it wrong). Truth and accuracy is still a thing, you know.

You're going about it all wrong. It's really about the context. And only because he is a supposed team leader. Now it comes out that he likely didn't say it. I'm glad he didn't.

I'm a character guy, and think people should be held accountable for things said, done, or otherwise. In the grand scheme of things, it changes MY life none whatsoever.

And while $6K a week is more than most here make, by NFL standards, that's chump change. I have zero issue with someone being tactfully "put in their places". I had a problem with the context (if true, which it seems it's not). So no biggie. I would have merely been disappointed because I thought higher of him. Turns out, I can still continue with that sentiment.....

The ignore list on the internet is the backhand you can't give them in life.

Actually only the paycheck comment was. The scout team trophy comments and Philbin crying for the defenders to lay off Tannehill so as not to hurt his confidence were legit.

So why did Tom Brady pay practice squad players if they INT'd them? I mean with such little income obviously and it being soooo easy, why would he do that?

And if it is sooo common place? Why is it a national story? Do you really believe that not just fans of his team but the entire country have it out for Ryan?

    Really?

Its because the story was a lie and its being compared incorrectly.

Tom Brady doesn't pay anyone to pick him off on during walk throughs.

I think the problem is, you guys don't understand the difference between walk throughs and practice.

Tannehill denied the paycheck comment. He also said the reports degraded his repution and were sickening and slanderous. He also expressed concerns about someone "leaking" inside info from locker room **cough Miko** and was disappointed that this was happening.

Tannehill talked about this in the video I just posted. He said teams don't generally practice on Saturdays. Walkthroughs are meant to be smooth. The defense knows the routes and knows what the offense is trying to do, in other words, there is no point and no merit in intercepting passes attempted during walkthroughs. Hence the "trophy case" comment made by Tannehill, sarcastically.
