Can't say that I disagree with him or Screamin A Smith for that matter.

Can't stand either of them...but they have some good points.

Calling the Dolphins a "cakewalk for the Giants" on MNF, isn't one (F.U. Skip).

It's an entertainment show. 99% of that show is acting. We all know that and it's a big reason we all hate ESPN these days...

...but in this case I think they're giving somewhat honest takes because it's not a big topic. To be fair, I think both were close to being right. I'm not sure Suh needs to be the DC but he needs to be consulted. I don't think we can say for sure that the Dolphins will struggle until Tannehill is replaced either, but Tannehill has been stuck in the middle ground for a long time. He's not costing you wins but he's not creating them either. If Miami is going to be so pass-happy, Tannehill needs to start creating, which he's never done. A big reason Miami is mediocre is that they feature a QB who's not creating.

Skip Bayless also said repeatedly Weeden would be a much better NFL QB than Tannehill. Based on how these guys are paid, I'd say the NFL strongly disagrees lmfao.

He also said Josh Freeman would be a better player for the Dolphins than Tannehill when they signed him. Skip Bayless is a moron and isn't qualified to speak about sports.

Do not hold anyone's Cleveland tenure against them. It's just not fair. Weeden will show his true colors these next few weeks and may get Dez soon.

Very convenient for Skip Bayless to start bashing Tannehill again... he was down on Tannehill in the 2012 draft, then after he saw how much Ryan was progressing, he stayed quiet about it all. Now after some early season struggles (along with the whole team) he jumped back on the "Tannehill sucks" bandwagon. :confused2:

Yeah, they're all fired due to association with Tannehill.

Skip Bayless is a Patriots and a more specifically Tom Brady homer. It is these stupid insignificant stories that the press blows out of proportion that make this franchise look like a bigger joke than it already is...

I made a mistake. I doubted Tannehill. But, I realized my error when Bayless and Smith started in on him. Anyone those two don't like has to be good!

It does seem skewed when failing to mention the OL. We're dead last in the league per pff. They did mention no running game, but our O line is giving Tannehill happy feet.

Philbin was so loyal to those guys, smh...

    But .. Aaron Rodgers!

I do blame Philbin for hiring Taylor to coach Tanny. In the club thread I expressed concern and hope that Tanny will hopefully now receive adequate positional coaching

Tannehill is the best QB we've had in here since Marino (Save Pennington's one miraculous season)

Skip is a moron. It's not like there is a plethora of Elite starting QBs to be had.

When the line is collapsing in on him before he even plants his back foot (less than a second) It's kind of absurd to attempt to evaluate a QB under those circumstances.

And I simply will refuse to do it. I'm not jumping on Tannehill until he proves whether he can or can't make the throws with consistently sufficient protection.

Once this clown show known as the MIAMI FO gets this OL repaired, we can give Tannehill a true and fair evaluation.

The bigger problem, is as Tannehill said in interviews yesterday... We have somebody in the locker room leaking information to the media. That's the biggest problem IMO. There is no team here. Teams don't throw each other under the bus like that to the media. It's why the teams dirty laundry keeps getting aired. Rather than dealing with it amongst themselves like men would, there's some one, or a few, whatever, that keep running to the media and running their mouths. Whether it's players, players wives, it doesn't matter. They're all to blame until they man up and actually act like a team.

We've seen tannehill have protection, although its as rare as a solar eclipse. Remember Oakland last year? What did tanny have...17 completions in a row. When he has time he' deadly

When's the last time something bad leaked out of GB or NE. Everyone in NE is benchable except Brady. Bill Belichik benched Stevan Ridley in the first game after a 1,200/10 season, for fumbling and his fumble rate isn't even really that bad.

Jonas Gray, 200 yards, missed a meeting, benched and cut.

Green Bay doesn't have that drill sergeant type atmosphere but there is a lot of respect, so not much sniping. We need that. When you get Alpha QB, you get respect throughout the team.

Mel Kiper also commented on Tannehill, saying its been long enough now and the excuses the people give for him have to end already. He must perform and show hes a franchise quarterback now not tomorrow. Fourth year and he is still inconsistent and erratic.
Everyone is piling on Tannehill lately in the media we will see how he responds.

It seems like everybody is making excuses for Luck, and I believe he is and should be a better qb, but Tanny seems to get little slack playing under the conditions he does.

Making excuses for Luck? He has been to the playoffs every year and went to the afc chpionship game last year

Same with Russell Wilson and Wilson has been to two super bowls.

That means theyre both proven winners.

What has Tannehill done besides win the Car Wash Bowl in Texas A&M?

You know what's about the ensue now right? All the "adjustments" to marginalize both of those players to rationalize putting Tannehill on common ground. Then the conversation will turn into "upside potential."
