The Colts moved to the AFC South in 2002. If you go back and look at the divisions at that time, the AFC South was actually the stronger division. In fact, the Colts,Titans, and Jags were all better than the Dolphins during most of the years from 2002-2007.
So at the time the decision was made to move the Colts instead of the Dolphins to the AFC South, it actually kept the Dolphins in the weaker division.

Ha! Perfect mentality for a Dolphins fan right now.

Point is that Luck gets a ton of extra love by virtue of playing in that division.

Hasn't even coached a game and his replacement's are already being speculated about. Campbell may be the answer, he may not be the answer, but damn he hasn't even coached a game yet and there's speculation about a coach under contract. So Dolphins, so Dolphins.

I'm probably alone on an island here, but I am not a fan of Sean Payton. I understand that he's a Super Bowl winner, but I think he's overrated as a head coach.

It's hard to like someone who brings in Kenny Chesney to practices. Jimmy Buffett wannabe.

His teams have been disasters recently. Especially the defense. There's a lot of drama surrounding him. He was involved in bountygate.

Well, Campbell's an interim, and he wouldn't have had a prayer of being a head coach anywhere right now if Miami hadn't turned into a giant dumpster fire. We've missed out on plenty of strong coaching prospects in the past via an unjustified commitment to the incumbent.

If Campbell is the least bit bothered by people speculating about a permanent replacement with a better resume, he's a much lesser man than I take him for. He's still got this season to show he's the second coming of Don Shula, or at least Bill Cowher.
