I'm not sure how many of you feel, but as long as Philbin is coaching this team...

Yup for us we were planning on going from Thursday to Monday
stopping half way(when we were planning on driving....) a night each way. its about a 13 hour drive for us.
gas, food, hotels, on top of the game day(food, drinks, tickets, parking)

    It adds up.

Plus my wife wants to go to graceland....yay......which is even further. So we were thinking of just spending our time in Memphis(hotels are cheaper there it seems)

Thankfully for me it's just a 3 hour drive. I don't spend near that much money. One guy I sat next to at the game Sunday came from California. Lol you can imagine how mad he was. I feel bad for all the people traveling to watch this sorry team.

Let's hope he enjoyed other parts of Miami... I would never fly anywhere to see a Philbin coached team play. It's just a bad investment period.

Honestly the only thing I'm gonna watch them for is to mock them. I'm not gonna pretend I'm not angry as hell at this team, especially with their obvious lack of effort.

I certainly wouldn't go to any games. Especially not if I had to travel from Canada... and I thought I had a long travel to get to Miami.

Hate to remind you but we're cursed against the Texans. We haven't beat them in their existence.

I'm very apathetic these days when it comes to my Fins. I just sit there thinking man this sucks - they've totally squashed the excitement I used to feel every Sunday for games. Been such a long time since I've experienced that.

I think this is how everyone feels every time they find out Philbin will still be the head coach:

If I remember correctly, that was in response to a penalty. At least Rex seems to CARE when things go wrong. All I see with Philbin is "let's go.. let's go" from his lips with nothing else. I mean.. Belichick shows almost no emotion and he gets the job done, so you don't have to be emotional as a HC, but when you don't get the job done it really looks bad when it doesn't even look like you care that much.

So, as I said before I wouldn't do anything as long as Philbin was aorund. well...he's gone now and took his DC Crony with him...albeit a few days later.

SO with that said....I WILL be going to Nashville this weekend with my wife and daughter to see the game.

Regardless if we win or lose, I am at least happy that the team has FINALLY realized their mistake and are moving on.

Me and my wife are looking forward to a few days in Tennessee this weekend, we will be staying in Memphis for a few days then driving to Nashville for a few days.
Never been so should be fun.

I have two extra tickets if anyone is interested though...my son and his girlfriend can't go.

    Just PM me.

    Good for you.

I had listed mine on Stub Hub for $250 each. I never thought they'd sell for that price. Especially when a bunch were in the same section for only around $160 each. As irritated with the team as I am, and as much as I didn't want to spend the money to go see them, I figured, I'll list them to keep the wife happy, they'd never sell and we'd still end up going... but last Friday they sold. Which shocked the hell out of me. So, I paid just around $300 US for them, sold them for $500. I guess I can't complain really. Bit disappointed because it would have been a fun trip, but oh well. My plan backfired. Sort of..

Now, we're just going to sit at home on the couch, make some pulled pork and chili and watch the game at home on tv!

HAHA that was our fall back plan to.
Maybe I'll toss up the other pair on Stub Hub. I've never used it before though.
