http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/s...ates-coaches-describe-dan-campbell-as-/nnzLy/ Some of these perspectives on this man are truly impressive, folks. Lots of people have wanted Bill Cowher here for years now, and the Dolphins may have just stumbled onto a very similar sort of coach in this guy. Almost dumb luck. It's always been said that you don't want a hall of famer as your head coach because his God-given ability prevents him from understanding and relating to the average player. He'll expect perfection out of everyone, which doesn't work. Campbell on the other hand, as the article says, was a "lunch pail" player who was also a "leader of leaders." That's exactly the kind of person you want leading your team. This team could indeed make a turnaround here this year, folks. Stay tuned.
Well, I'm all in on the guy. I'm not going to hold him to a record...I just want to see inspired play. I'm fed up with seeing every other team we play out-hustle us, which I truly believe was Philbin's biggest stain...maybe 2nd biggest behind letting a boatload of homegrown talent leave this team.

Well I'll be in Nashville to see the "sleeping giant" wake up hopefully. I mean to me he sounds more like a WWE wrestler in an interview, but maybe that's what we need. I'll reserve any negative feelings or sarcastic remarks until I see (in person) what these guys do next Sunday.
And there's your indictment of the leadership among the players. Nobody knew? Come on. Campbell may be the second coming of Bill Cowher, but unless some dependable leaders among the players emerge and make his message resonate in the locker room, this team will still be going nowhere. That link has to be made.
There may very well be a player leadership vacuum on the team, but that thing you highlighted doesn't prove or imply it.
this should be a great case study in leadership, on one hand we know how a bad one turned a team to a bunch of softies with no intensity..we shall see what the opposite looks like.. mike irvin said it best, everyone needs to wake up and figure out what they can do do get better today, now if a coach can inspire them to do that, then they will practice harder, that competiitiveness in practice is key mike irvin says..
When I think of WWE I think Rex Ryan then everyone else. Yesterday, he had the Bills wearing bracelets that say "YES SIR!" in response to last weeks 87 penalties. Just a day in the life lol I think Campbell is just a pretty intense guy who knows he has a monster opportunity.

I heard they watched an inspirational video about Michael Jordan. It was supposed to inspire the players to be more self motivated.
