Um, Shou, its been cited in the club forum earlier this week. It was 2.6 seconds average dropback time. Lowest in the league. End of discussion. And please....Ive banned you about 6x under different user names...stop coming back.

Additionally, you all need to start treating each other with a little more respect. Just because you disagree with someone doesnt give you the right to violate TOS and act like a damn sociopath. Some of you are on your last chance...Id suggest you stay on perfect behavior. If you cant agree to disagree, then add the person to your block list. Dont be the example.

I just posted something about treating each other with respect. Talk out your differences via pm....or dont. Or put each other on block. I don't really care which you choose but choose one. Stop cluttering up the thread with personal nonsense no one wants to read.

It just doesn't add up. I don't think we can conclude Lazer is knowingly avoiding what works and forcing something that doesnt just for the sake of pride. People aren't idiots. He must have a reason.

It could also be he's not being completely honest when speaking to the public, particularly since speaking negatively about your QB is not something a coach would do.

I've been waiting for you guys to point that out...as you guys have no problem believing that Lazor was honest in calling Tannehill out for the deep ball "issues" and not calling out Wallace. I think that with the deep ball stuff, something had to be said publicly, so they said it about Tannehill, knowing he's a stand up guy, and could take the criticism, warranted or not. Tied into Lazor staying that Tannehill reads and reacts well, it makes sense that they are for the most part happy with his development so far, and have more concerns about the offense surrounding him.

We rarely hear coaches give their honest opinions. Coach-speak is about all we get. So of it we assume happens to align with what they truly believe and some doesnt. That's obvious.

Can you remind me what Lazor said to call out Wallace and what the context was?

I know Lazor has insinuated that there could be more deep balls thrown as a result of play design being what it is. He said some of it comes down to what the QB decides to do.

That's a pretty vague statement though. It's honest but it doesn't she'd any light onto what Lazor wants.

Yes you can. Boomer did just that in that post. Yes, least time to throw, yes not a lot of lanes. Despite all of that, he wants to see:

Greg is saying, everything but the bold, we stipulate to. Both sides agree it to be true. The line? Bad. But what is Tannehill doing with what he is given. And most of us would agree, the bold is what.

For the record I'm not interested in debating, I'd legitimately like to understand more about why the offense doesn't do more to cater towards Tannehill.

I'm just wondering, like most people here, if there hope for the future.

    Don't. Just don't.

Boomer is the nicest and most reasonable guy around here. Chalk it up to British politeness. He's this guy, you run him over and he's bleeding, his bike is torn up, he says it's okay don't worry about it!

PFF is nonsense in its ratings. Their stats I tend to trust, but their ratings, forget about it.

Boomer just spent last week with the team. Our team. In the locker room. After the game. His girlfriend was interviewing the players. I would trust him 100000000x before PFF. Him and CK wrote for David Hyde a few years back. And had their own website for a while.

Here is an example of his writing along with CK:

    http://weblogs.sun-sentinel.com/spo...g/2011/02/draft_winds_a_thorough_breakdo.html

You didn't ask who he was (you should have) but that's who he is. Spend a few dollars, join the club, and then you'll see. What's the annual fee now? I don't even know it's on automatic payment for me. So worth it as a fan of the team.

The only issue I had is he was being dismissive and talking about how his advice is worth five hundred bucks. He's an aspiring scout and a writer, cool. Doesn't give him the right to crap on others when Tannephins and I had legitimate points.

So, honest question, when Tannehill leads the team to 35 points against Denver, that isn't putting the team on his back? What about the second half of GB? What about any number of games? Some we didn't win, many we didn't win actually, but I don't fault Tannehill. Thats been the crux of my disagreement all along. I believe other parts of the team have been much more detrimental to the team, and far more responsible for losses than Tannehill. That doesn't mean, however, that Tannehill hasn't had his share of off games.

I didn't see the first half of the GB game in which the offense struggled. I only saw the second half in which I thought Tannehill played well. I guess it's a little more heroic knowing he shook off a bad half but still, that's just a positive ending to a negative beginning.

What I remember most about the GB ge is the offense having chances to seal the deal at the end, against an injury-weakened GB defense and failing.

To me, the defense went up against one of the best offenses and did an adequate job for most of the day and at the end kept it close. I really think, had the offense been able to move the ball more authoritatively that the Dolphins would've won.

But playing one half of good ball against a mediocre team missing it's best CBs doesn't really satisfy me. I'm actually much more impressed with the way Tannehill played again the Jags this year. From start to finish he was the best player on the field.

The problem is he still made several awful throws which left points on the field. By comparison, Andy Dalton did the same thing against Seattle (a better squad) and did it cleaner in my view.

The Denver game game Tannehill showed up. I'll give him credit. The offense as a whole played well. Even Dallas Thomas looked decent that game. I don't know what to say about Denver. It was a great day offensively but rarely does Peyton Manning lose.

I'm tired of the "left plays on the field argument", Its bogus and it neglects to account for what every other QB does.

Without understanding or factoring in what the normal amount of plays left on the field is for an average QB, you can't use it as a stat to ding Tannehill on. For all any of us know, he leaves less plays on the field than Peyton Manning. We don't know.

No, Boom is wanting to see more of that stuff from him, he isn't dinging him for it because he knows Tannehill is dealing with more obstacles then most other QBs. His analysis is pretty clear.

I remember very clearly why I left this thread. People scoffed at me and said I was wrong about Suh. People thought I was wrong about Parker and we'll see how he turns out. I wanted to draft Hyde and replace Miller and look how that's turning out. You'll see you were wrong about Tannehill and the Dolphins situation. The vast majority are usually wrong so I don't care that you're popular here. There's few very posters whose opinion I value, including DolphinGreg, Tannephins and DJ. Idk how people pay for your opinion but good luck. Ban me, I've lived most of my life without this site.

No one wants to ban you. Just treat others how you wish to be treated. That's all I'd say.

Regarding Miller vs Hyde....Im not sure that would turn out the way you'd like. Hyde would be no more (or less) successful in this scheme than Miller because the scheme has been terrible this year. Though I must admit I like that Jonas Gray is going to be more involved. I've been a fan of him and Miller since they were drafted (or in the case of Gray, undrafted). Could be some thunder and lightning.

You want to run more up tempo offense when our online is as bad as it is. Lets get them even more tired so they can play even more poorly. I cant think of anything that would be better for the health of albert's legs then running an up temp offense for most of the game lol

Boomer is rarely if ever dismissive. He didn't say his advice is worth $500. I believe that's what those publications/outlets pay for the very thing Tannephins asked for. The work he did, with the results, cost $495. That's what he does for a living, and that's what it cost. That's all. It's like PFF. You have to pay for their data. You're not going to the owner of PFF and say, hey, give me that stuff for free.

No harm intended by either of those two and I think they resolved it amicably before he was banned. Lol.

shouright was a long time fixture here, and I guess I was never around the many times he's been banned. Hah

Let's get back to Tannehill and his deficiencies. ;)

Yes. The defense ended up giving up 27 points. But if the offense, and I mean the WHOLE offense, gets a first down or two, they win, and the defense only gave up 20 points to an offense that averaged 30. Not blaming on either side it was a team effort to almost win, and then the team effort wasn't enough, on both sides.

Philbin calling that time out did NOT help.
