Well ladies and gentlemen, our beloved Miami Dolphins have gotten off to a rough start in 2015. So rough that Joe Philbin and Kevin Coyle got fired and Dan Campbell and Lou Anarumo got promoted into those vacant jobs.

Campbell has breathed life into our dying season as we have seen and heard since he became head coach. The fire, intensity, toughness and energy he brings are things we have been aching to see and things we've sorely been lacking.

I am very excited and Campbell has me insanely pumped up as we start the post-bye season. Of course, we have no idea how it'll go, but I know DANIMAL will have us playing the kind of football that I dream of us playing. A team playing aggressively. A team playing with passion. A team playing with TOUGHNESS.

As for our opponent, despite their 1-3 record, the Titans are certainly not a team to take lightly. Marcus Mariota may be a rookie, but the dude can make plays. Their defense is pretty solid and they are hard to pass on. Ryan Tannehill will have his work cut out for him. I expect him to play better than he has the last few games, and I certainly expect us to run the ball more than we have all season. That will only help Tannehill and the offense as a whole.

Get excited! This is Opening Day 2.0!

    Let's go Dolphins!!!

Real hope or false hope ?

A win doesn't answer the question imo . Unfortunately it's almost guaranteed to not matter , easy to play when it doesn't matter . The team / organization has put us in that spot once again . Still , a positive win would be the right step .

we have one chance left to make a run, starts 2maro...pumped as hell to see what an infusion of young leadership and real tougness looks like in a team game..

I will watch closely how we come off the ball on the first play, I will watch intently if anyone has learned how to use the qb correctly, I will wish for our first coach to payer chest bump..

Like any team whos desperate, its time to take the chains off, and that includes the statuesque ryan tannehill, its move or die, run or get off the pot, convert by any means neccessary, no more anxiousness in the pocket

hope is alive because of one man..we'll see how far his energy can take us.

if we could just get lucky with cambell being a young parcells, man would it be great to be a fan of a team coached by that badass, i dont know how we can lose this game..

Getting Dion Sims back is pretty huge for our offense. Campbell said it himself. Like half our playbook is based on two TE sets, but only if Sims is available.

Should be an intense matchup, but in no way do I think this game is a gimme...

Pretty ****ty roster planning if half your playbook requires Sims to be healthy.

I'm actually not that excited about the game today. More than likely the OL gets eaten alive again and another week of is he/isn't he is going to fill the board.

Hope I'm wrong but this team has lost me emotionally for this season already.

Yup, took me by surprise as well...Anyway, look for more two TE sets with Cameron releasing. This should also help with pass protection.

I'm also gonna look for more rollouts and things that can mitigate one of the NFL's best pass rushing units. Philbin was so stubborn about this and it cost him plenty. Campbell seems like he'll try anything that works to win.

Its easy to sit back on our couches and pick apart all the flaws like its pepperoni on a Little Ceasars Pizza. Sure we can all act like Donald Trump, look at our QB and say, how can you win with a face like that.

F that bull****. You get fat being lazy by finding all the flaws, Im more interested in looking for reasons were gonna win. Reason One...

    Thunder Dan Campbell B*****es...

dan cambell has the makeup to be a star, he's different, he's sincere, he's honest about himself, I think he will be himself on the field, which is gonna be ''im not lettin any man give anything but 100 percent of who they are'', and I think him being so demonstrative will be as real as it gets....all that= inspiration.

Coach is going to have a lot less time to hit the weights than he did as TE coach.

TE is pretty close to the OLINE. I would expect Campbell to have been more aware of what was happening than the head coach, and yet, what did he do about it??? Jmart is out of the league now. There was just no room for a p**** on an NFL team. Bullygate was stupid.

I think so many people are overlooking the single most important thing that Campbell brings. Everyone keeps saying hes tough...he is. But he understands that to get the most out of every player...he has to understand every player. Figure out what gets the most out of one vs the othwr. That's why he's going be our long term head coach. I really don't have much of a doubt in this. Football isnt difficult...hes got coordinators for the xs and os...Campbells job is to get the most out of every player.

thats a thread by itself, because of those very statements..I agree that its a major part of his job...but dont you think belicek brings a schematic intelligence that helps the pats win?

Belicheat is a master planner...no doubt...so good, he can even come up with a great game plan when he knows what the other team is going to do...amazing.

Seriously though, I believe he does...on a macro level, which isn't to say he doesn't understand the detail, he just has Cs to do the grunt work. My thought is, he watches film, looks for tendencies that can be abused, discusses that particular overall scheme that can take advantage of the weaknesses, lets his Cs come up with the details, and signs off on it...making corrections as he sees fit of course. That's why they're so flexible. They have the discipline to switch scheme week to week to fit weaknesses, whether it's their bread-and-butter or not.

Regarding Campbell...he's admittedly not an X and O guy, but he has to be at least knowledgeable of it to coach TEs within the scheme, so it isn't like he has NO clue, he just hasn't done it at a C level. I expect he laid it to the Cs to come up stuff that will be reliant on the physicality he's expecting from the team, and will go with that.

I started a thread so we could discuss later..but you make good points..

If we see an early coach to player chest bump im gonna be off my couch, its been a while...the team has played for soooo long without the emotional intensity I think you have to win I just want to see what THAT looks like.

yeah football teams can win without inspiration, motivation, and intensity....my ***..players need to have that pulled out of them...countless arguments with folks who told me that players are self motivated at this level.....not......players want to play for something other than themselves.....

giants won two super bowls under coughlin. he's not an inspirational type of coach. there are exceptions. i'm not sure belichik "inspires" you either. but you know you're in the best scheme to win with him. the other coaches to win recently have been the inspirational types though so it seems its fifty fifty.

Turner is starting for Douglas. Stills for Jennings.

Expect more two tight end sets. Expect more runs. Expect some play actions. Expect Tannehill under center a bit. Expect aggressiveness. Expect emotion.

    So it begins!

I know this as much as I know anything about the game.... In this town, with this culture where it is...we need a coach with the attributes that dan cambell brings to the table...absolutely 100 percent we need his toughness and boundless energy..
