...in this case, I think some bragging needs to take place for one VERY IMPORTANT REASON- this season is far from over folks.

When I broke down the exact problems of the offensive line and explained how easily they could turn the corner, I wasn't just talking out my <you know what>. When I said Miller was going to have a field day today and that Wake would outright rape the poor opposing quarterback, I was saying that because I was hearing how complete the changes were behind the scenes and how fired up the team was for today's game. So while I couldn't be sure that we'd win, I did know that a complete ***-kicking was coming and the Titans were going to have some bodies laying around on the ground. That's just what happens when you get a bunch of warriors fired up for two weeks straight and then turn them completely loose.

If we had to describe the way the Fins played today in one word...what would that word be? Violent? Possessed? Bloodbath? Take your pick, because it was all of those things.

The greatest thing about today, in my opinion, was that Ryan Tannehill struggled in the first half...just like he did in the first four games of the season. But where's all the "Tannehill Sucks!" threads today? We're not seeing them, because the team got such a complete victory that Tannehill was able to find his game, relax a little in the pocket and actually make some extremely good throws. He redeemed himself because the team actually gave him the chance to do so...and that's how its supposed to be with a franchise quarterback. A few great throws, a few bad ones...but overall an extremely convincing win. Tannehill will only get better if we keep running the ball north and south....and hopefully that point is evident now.

And you know what the craziest thing was? There was no illegal block on that Landry punt return (he hit the guy in his side). There was no roughing the passer on Vernon's 2nd hit. We got a lot of bad calls today, the secondary still has holes and the LB corps didn't step up early. But none of that stuff mattered, because we had 11 players on the field playing with a grudge and people were making plays. And by the end, the linebackers were knocking people's heads off. The secondary almost looked cocky. And the opposing coach was throwing challenge flags just to have something to do...that's how frustrating things were.

How many turnovers did we have? Six? Seven? I honestly lost count. How many sacks did Wake have stolen away by holding? I can't remember that either, but I smiled every time that yellow flag went flying and Wake signaled to move their asses back. It was that kind of day...brutal, ugly and just downright fun to watch.

Nonetheless, it was an awesome game today and I couldn't be prouder of our boys or Mr. Campbell....who is likely 1/12 of the way towards Coach of the Year honors. I know it's very early and it was only one game, but holy **** guys....we were the baddest mo-fo's in the NFL today and we unleashed utter destruction! Watch out New England, here we come!

Titans got their *** whooped. I'm starting to drink the Dan Campbell koolaid. I know Tennessee isnt exactly a dominant team.. But this game was called from the sidelines near flawlessly and the team played hard ! Thank God!

The offense did well when you consider they were up against the #1 pass defense, and #9 rush defense.

That was damn fun to watch. Haven't been that excited since the blowout of the Chargers last year.
before we get overly excited about the "season", let's look at what's ahead of us.
-fully expect us to beat Houston, we will get excited to be 3-3.
-Then we have a short week for Thursday night game against the Patriots on the road. Outside of an injury to Brady, I'm seeing us losing to New England.
-Then we get 3 out of 4 road games vs Buffalo, Philly and Jets with the home game vs Dallas.
    - if we can somehow pull off 3 wins in that 5 game stretch, then we got a shot at a wildcard with the remaining schedule.
I don't see us beating Buffalo on the road if Tyrod Taylor is back - we'll see.

I said after Campbell was promoted, if we went 8-8, that would be a big accomplishment for Campbell and this team.

It was great to see our guys play with some intensity, passion and fight today.

I still think we have too many holes at LG, LB and DB to compete at a high level but it would be great to see them make something out of this season. Its very premature but if Campbell can get this team to win 5-6 more games I'd be all for hiring him as our next HC. I love his fire. It reminds me of Marino.

This cannot be overstated. The titans defense is legit.

We just played with such intensity, such violence, that the legit part didn't matter. I truly believe that Miller would have had 100+ yards against any team today and the defense would produce 4+ turnovers. That was, quite literally, the performance of the decade for our young Dolphins.

No, they are not a dominant team. They do have a good defense with a great coordinator, so hats off to the team. The other things the Titans had was a very good time of possession average. hats off to our defense.

As mentioned, the Titans aren't an elite team. But their AP beat writer said this morning that many of their players believed they should be 3-1 or 4-0. They've lost close games. Their defense has been tough and Mariota has played well for a rookie.

And let's not forget that we did this on the road. The Titans haven't won there in over a year, but it's still a road win against a team that felt they weren't getting their due.

And I love the fact that there are still a lot of areas for improvement. We can still be better. You're rarely going to play a perfect game, and this shows the guys that they can overcome adversity and still kick ***.

Great game. Lot of fun. And to think my cable box died 30 mins before kickoff. But I channeled my inner Campbell and overcame adversity -- arriving at the bar just in time for kickoff. [emoji38]

It took the DL 5 games to live up to expectations. But they finally came out with a bang.

I wonder how many fair weathered fans that sold off their tickets for the game are sick they didn't go? What an *** whoopin.. I wasn't sure if the HC change would do the trick, I'm still not sure (but I'll damn sure go with what works). Having Brandon Albert back and a "healthy" Cameron Wake makes a huge difference. Time will tell about our coach and our future but I'll never wear a bag on my head or "boycott" MY TEAM! Proud day for TRUE Dolphins fans!!

I'm not sure if many fans did sell off their tickets. I was there and I bet the stadium was almost half dolphin fans.

I also think it's important to note two key differences with this game. One is Cameron Wake was going up against a back up RT and was able to exploit that creating havoc on their offense, forcing several key turnovers. Secondly, our OL with Albert goes from horrible to respectable. When he's out, we don't run the ball well and our pass protection goes to hell.

Interestingly enough, Wake graded a 7.8 by PFF. That's one of the highest grades I've seen.

I saw several people post here that they quit on this team and confirmed that they sold their tickets. Hopefully they went to the Jets forums.. It was hard to tell by watching TV how many Miami fans were there. Almost half the stadium? Thats freakin awesome! How was Nashville? My wife wants to visit.

Winning makes people forget the bad plays. I'm a big Wilson fan, but he has at least as many bad plays (IMO more) than Tannehill does. But people forget or minimize those b/c he's been supported by an arguably all-time great defense and a great run game. I have no doubt that if Wilson and Tannehill's situations were switched the results for each team would be about the same. Tannehill would be lauded for winning the SB, being a great leader and making clutch plays and Wilson would be a question mark, with questionable leadership who isn't capable of lifting his team. Your seeing some of that this year where Wilson despite all his escape ability has been sacked something like 26 times in 6 games and his team sits at 2-4. In fact, without a great play by his defense they'd be 1-5. He tends to get a pass b/c he has the SB pedigree, but if he hadn't had that defense and run game the last three years, he wouldn't have that. He'd be that question mark and constant subject of debate. Winning cures all and QBs get too much credit and blame for wins and losses.

Bout f****** time we played up to our potential. What a coincidence it was the first game without queasy lmfao. Ireland and Hickey are the real reasons we field a competitive squad, and now that the cancer at HC has finally been removed, we're ready to roll.
