Had they given him the ball a few more times in the second half, he'd be a better candidate. 99 yards in the 1st, 14 in the 2nd. I know they rested him most of the 4th quarter though.

Its more important that he stays healthy as opposed to breaking records and getting individual awards. It will only make it more difficult to sign him next year ...if we have a mind too.

put my vote in, lots of awards this week imo, wouldnt even have thought of Miller really, think Ivory will win that one but Wake, Grimes and Jones should all be in discussion for defensive player of the week, wake will obviously win it though

Yea OV, Miller, and Matthews are going to make for a very interesting off season to say the least. Even though we have a losing record, overall talent isn't a problem on this team which is a comforting thought going forward. For all the heat Ireland took unjustifiably, he and Hickey have found us some excellent young talent to build around. Too bad we let go of Carroll, Davis, and Smith though smh. Jamar's gotta step up.

You give Miller sufficient blocking to open up even just a few creases and he can be dangerous.

Lamar Miller looked great with his speed and downhill running. He just needs to incorporate the stiff arm into his arsenal.

Let OV walk and find a way to keep Miller and Matthews.

I'm not so sure about that. Yea OV hasn't played well for us but he's still very young. Fede is severely over rated by most Dolphins fans (dude gets no pass rush) and Shelby just doesn't have a very high ceiling. If OV is asking for crazy money sure let him walk, but the reality of our situation is that we really need some talented young defensive ends to make our 4-3 work and OV is the only one with legit potential on our roster. He definitely needs to play better, but truth be told Miller and Matthews are gonna be a lot easier to replace. F****** Dion Jordan, what a hole he's put us in.

Miller looked really smooth running, and pretty dang quick too.

If the OL can play at a half decent level, RT17 and Miller are both almost always solid. When the hole is there, he gets his yards. Miller is our pending UFA that I want to see back the most.
