ESPN will begin doing a weekly wrap up of the action in WWE/NXT each week. Will be announced by Seth Rollins and Jonathan Coachman tonight on Sportscenter.

Congrats to the WWE for breaking a 17 year old record for the lowest non holiday rated RAW.

To be fair to the WWE they were going up against a big MN football game and 4 MLB playoff games but again the ratings have been down for months to begin with. Wonder when the WWE is going to put the WWE title back on Triple H to save the company..... (I'm only half kidding).

If you smell what I am getting at....

even though that won't help consistent weekly numbers.

I would be surprised if The Rock would be a full timer and showing up week in and week out. But again this is the WWE's problem of keep going back to their former stars because they have failed to truly make a new superstar since Cena/Orton/Batista.

Everyone should listen to the Stone Cold podcast this week with him and Raven. Both guys have great minds for the business. If I was the WWE I would honestly fire all of their current writers and hire Raven, Scott Hall and Jake Roberts and let them do all the booking/writing and add Heyman to the team to give ideas as well.

Scott Hall has a great wrestling mind, he came up with countless great ideas like the crow Sting character. Plus he doesn't have any personal interests now that he and his buddies are retired so he wouldn't be putting over him or his friends. Most of Hall's issues were his personal demons anyway.

WWE is talking to Alberto Del Rio about coming back. Maybe it's just me but I was never a fan of his, he's a fine worker but just bored me, much like Sheamus.

Hulk Hogan will be back before Angle is. The WWE just doesn't want to sign a liability like Angle that could embarass the company with his "personal demons". There have been multiple times the WWE could sign him and passed each time.

You do understand that Raw's "low ratings" are still MONSTER, GARGANTUAN, MASSIVE ratings everywhere else right?

Outside of the bubble, RAW's ratings are good. Inside the bubble though, they have GOT to be nervous.

WWE has got to have a stake in EVOLVE, at this point too. They are actively promoting them on WWE.com

Think the WWE was desperate last night to kind of reform The Shield and kick off RAW with Austin, Taker and Lesnar? Anyway should be interesting to see what the ratings will be like as the WWE promoted the hell out of Brock, Taker, Flair, HBK and Austin being there.

While I didn't like The Shield reforming, the match itself was done well. I do wonder if this was the WWE foreshadowing WM32 with The Shield triple threat match. Obviously with HBK and Flair giving props to Reigns last night you can tell with Cena leaving for awhile they're going to be counting on Reigns to take the "reigns".

Also Cena is scheduled for HiTC but his opponent hasn't been named, I wonder if it's going to be Ambrose, since the Orton/Ambrose vs. Harper/Braun match is off because Orton hurt his shoulder and might need surgery.

The Stone Cold- Lesnar podcast was not all that great. Lesnar is a very interesting guy, but you can tell that Austin tried to wing it and did not want a producer to help him with it.

On his podcast, he tapes for 2 hours and asks everything, then edits it down. This was live and for 1 hour. The need for a professional to help Austin was evident.

Didn't see the Podcast yet but are you sure it wasn't because Lesnar isn't exactly Mr. Personality and interviews, especially live and solo aren't really his thing?

I mean I thought Austin's previous WWE Live Podcasts with Vince, Triple H, Paige and Edge/Christian were pretty good but when I first heard Austin was having Brock on as a guest I figured it wouldn't be that great since Brock is very guarded about everything.

Stone Cold's best guest on that show is always Paul Heyman.. they really connect well together and Paul really knows how to tell a story.

RAW rating was up slightly from last week's record low but considering the legends that they were hyping to appear it has got to be viewed as disappointing.

Like most of the WWE PPVs since the Network launched, it was good but basically will be forgotten in a few weeks outside of maybe the Brock/Taker HiTC match. I enjoyed the Wyatt/Reigns match too as it was hard hitting but the rest of the card was basically a RAW Supershow which for a C level PPV isn't a knock.

The Del Rio surprise was nice, as there were rumors going around it could be anyone from Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe, Tyler Breeze to Goldberg. But unfortunately now we're stuck with having to watch Del Rio promos and matches.

When the WWE was hyping the 25th Anniversary for the Undertaker at Survivor Series I figured it would be Rollins/Taker for the title but now it's looking like either a Taker vs. Wyatt match or Team Taker (with maybe Reigns, Ambrose and Kane/Orton/Sting) vs. Bray, Harper, Rowan, Braun. Not sure how I feel about the Taker/Wyatt feud. Wyatt needs to actually start winning feuds and I can't see Taker putting Wyatt over. Just seems like a lose/lose for everyone.

I disagree. I think Austin did as best he could, given the subject. Brock isn't very articulate or verbose. Austin tried to soften him up some by discussing hunting and guns, but when he tried to follow that up with some tougher questions, Brock shut it down. Austin didn't really press to hard to get any answers after that, which was bad. But honestly, I think he was intimidated, to a degree, by Brock. And rightfully so.

But Brock pretty much said he hates people, doesn't like doing this sort of stuff and has no passion for the sport.

Not a whole lot you can do if you are Austin and Brock pretty much craps on the allowed topics that the WWE approves.

Brock was either purposely evading certain questions, or not smart enough to answer them.

Austin just sort of gave up, in my opinion.

Has anyone else checked out the Breaking Ground series on the Network? It got uploaded earlier.

    I have a couple of thoughts ...
    • This is everything that Tough Enough should have been. Much more interesting and definitely more entertaining. Shatner is the narrator and it works fine. Probably helps that Shatner is a fan of the product.
    • There's no way this could have been done without the launch of the Performance Center or the release of Bill DeMott. I just don't see how it would have worked.
    • Some of it comes across as propaganda (especially the verbiage on concussion protocol), but it's no different than how HBO does PR for the NFL on Hard Knocks.

Pretty entertaining overall. A really interesting look into how the current process really works, as opposed to the reality crap that is Tough Enough.

I have heard nothing but good things about it. Everything from a wrestling version of Hard Knocks, to an extension of the really well done ESPN E:60 piece that ran a few weeks back.

I'm surprised and I'm not surprised that Reigns is Rollins next challenger but again the WWE is put in a tough situation because Reigns pretty much has to win the WWE title here or he's going to be viewed as a choker since he didn't win the WWE title at WM and whatever they call the May PPV. I'd think the WWE would want to save his big title victory for WM but with ratings in the tank maybe they need to try a title switch, especially with Cena out for 2 months. If Reigns fails to win I do think it's going to hurt his credibility, even if he wins by DQ or it's a screw job ending. Although I feel like the end is going to be Ambrose coming down and costing Reigns the match whether it's on purpose or by accident.

I listened to the Brock/Stone Cold podcast last night, I didn't think it was that bad. Much better than I expected. I thought Austin was fine. As far as Austin not pressing Brock, I think that's more of Austin knowing Brock personally and he probably knows it would go nowhere to keep pushing. But yeah I got the same things Samphin got out of it, Brock hates people but likes competition and money. Obviously he doesn't have a passion for the business like Austin or others considering he couldn't even remember which WMs he was in or who he fought.

I will have to check out the Breaking Ground show though soon.

Reigns makes the most sense to be the challenger. He has been pretty over with the crowd for months now, is having good to great matches and has the all important, "look."

Bryan isn't here to derail Roman's ascent to the top this time. The audience has embraced him and Reigns is a natural foil for Rollins. I don't think it was announced that they would wrestle at Survivor Series, but I assume they will. SS has given many superstars their first title victory. Undertaker, The Rock, and I believe even Chrs Jericho, to name a few.

Plus, it would be fitting that Rollins loses right after he has passed all of The Authorities's "tests." Sets up some animosity with HHH if they choose to go in that direction.

It's debatable if he's truly over with the crowd but he's obviously in a much better position than he was in March of last year. While I think Reigns has gotten much better in the ring, I think the WWE really should limit him with the mike. Guys like Goldberg and Brock got over just by kicking *** in the ring. I do think if the WWE is going to pull the trigger and give Reigns the monster push now is the time to do it without Brock, Cena or Bryan around until the beginning of next year. Really there's no real main event baby faces left for Rollins to go through except for The Undertaker and I doubt he'll be sticking around for a Royal Rumble match for instance. Plus ratings wise Rollins isn't doing it, whether it's his fault or not, might as well try something new.

I still think this is leading to a triple threat match at WM between the members of The Shield or in the very least an Ambrose/Reigns WM match with Rollins facing Triple H if the WWE decides to put The Rock with Brock at WM.

I was a huge WCW fan when i was 11-12 at that time and honestly Hogan didnt interest me at all... He is probably the worst heel in wrestling history, and my least favorite wrestler ever. I know he is a gigantic icon, but when you look at his matches, he never sold any of those moves he made that well lol always looked like a wrestling fight vs air. Scott Hall even thinks Hogan was the worst heel and they worked together with NWO.

I loved the cruiserweight division WCW had. Probably the best cruiserweight era ever. Juventud Guerrera was my favorite wrestler.

So question for you all, something I was thinking about today. Years down the line Brock Lesnar is is inducted into the WWE hall of fame. Does he give a speech? What would he say? Would he even get inducted?

If he's on good terms with the WWE and they could make money off of it of course he will be inducted into the HOF. He would give a speech but it would probably be pretty short and to the point.

Ruse possibly has a torn bicep. I kind of feel bad for him, as these injuries along with the strange booking of him since the Cena feud has really killed any heat his character had.
