I dont want to be overexcited but just have a feeling we dominate tonight.. 4 sacks and a fumble on Brady and a Suh Stomp on Brady's facemask! (Jk dont want him to get suspended)

    dolphin wins by two touchdowns.

Im a little worried about our Rookie kickers tonight. Its suppose to be alittle breazy tonight and that open ended stadium can swirl. For the most part you have to score td's to beat NE so hoping we don't need there legs often. Dog Fight tonight go .

As much as I`m hyped for this game its the highlighted quote thats keeping my emotions in check because up there its NEVER a fair, level playing field. Whether its the refs kissing their asses or their cheating habits, it takes away from hoping your team has a fair shot at winning. Their home record through the years is proof enough that they havent been winning on talent and coaching alone. They bring "home field advantage" to a whole `nother level... cheating bastards. Man , what I wouldnt give to see us beat their asses up there.

We can win this game. The Dolphins are built for beating the Patriots.

I know we can win this just don't know if we will. As long as they don't go out there and look like Joe Philbin's Dolphins and do look like the team we've seen the last two weeks I will be pleased.

Nothing would make me happier than to see those Pats fans leaving the stands early like they did when we sprung the wildcat on them the first time. Classic!

I think it will be nearly impossible for Miami to win, for the following reason:

Not really. They're 8-2 in their last 10 games against us. I wouldn't say that is built for beating the Patriots.

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but it would be a really big feat to win this game. The Patriots play great at home (think like 46-4 in their last 50). They play great on Thursday (I think they're 7-0 or something like that). And they play great against us.

It's why they're favored so heavily.

If we win, then I would be prepared to say this team can really run the table and take off. However, we're not there yet. I still believe we're the same .500 team we've always been, but I'm hoping to be proved wrong.

Leggo dolphins! This fanbase has been dying for a win like this for years. So, I'm really hoping tonight is the night.

One of very few times anyone has ever caught Belicheat with his pants down, unprepared (in NE). Not even Ernie Adams could find an answer on short notice. There simply wasn't an answer from Ernie or Bill; no magic half-time adjustment to be made. Even though there was nothing cryptic about the Wildcat TBH (stopping it involved just blitz every gap).

It was just there in their face, and there was nothing they could do to stop it.

Seeing as how there was no film prior to them seeing it live, it was evident that they had confidently prepared to face something completely different (bad intel from Ernie?).

First play, go deep down the field to Stills or Parker.

Luckily, our defense practices against that kind of quick release (from the GOAT, no less) everyday in practice. I highly doubt it will come down to a shoot out, but if it does, that's not a good thing for you.

We should be looking at how they approach stopping us. If it works, then we should make an in-game adjustment to do the same similar things against a passing attack that gets the ball out so quickly.

    So does ours?

.04sec isn't a noticeable difference. Our D is used to that kind of quick release.

Well 8-2 goes back 5 years...I don't much believe 3-5 years ago matters much to the current organization/roster...the most recent 2 year trend is 2-2...more indicative IMO.

This is the kind of game where philbin would always elect to kick field goals at the 5, and it would drive me insane. You don't beat the patriots with FG's.

True, but both of our wins were at home. Winning in Foxborough where they're 46-4 and 8-0 on TNF is much more difficult.
I'm just saying that I wouldn't expect, nor be depressed, when things don't work out in our favor.

Right. Honestly, one's hope in this game is not to get embarrassed. A win would just be a huge bonus.

  25. i hope the team does not share your mind set.

I thought myself sick just to take off work tonight... it was true, though. I had a fever, and the only prescription was Thursday night football!

I REALLY need the refs to be looking out for picks, push-offs, and jersey pulls...they get away with more of that **** than anybody (except maybe the Seachickens with jersey tugs).
