You know what's really cool though, if you yell into this vow, there's an echo.

We need to do more safety and Corner blitzes. Especially against Buffalo.

If the prior staff hadn't told McCain to fatten up for some reason he might be the guy now. As is, I'll believe it when it happens.

Too bad Dion Jordan can't get off drugs. This would be a prime opportunity now. There is no way the team can do what Wake did. The other defensive linemen have done almost nothing in getting to the quarterback and now Suh will see even more double teams. On another note where is Jordan Phillips. Our 1st (Parker) and 2nd round pick are doing nothing for this team. Shocking for this organization.

Do have that DT named Suh.

Have to wonder if they flip Vernon to Wake's DE slot, and Fede or Shelby take Vernons'

Not a horrible plan, objectively, real problem is none of the Lb's has shown much talent rushing the passer

    Well away from here
Neither has Vernon. But why make two changes? Leave Vernon where he is and work on generating pressure from Wake's position. It doesn't have to always equate to sacks, it does however have to equate to pressure. Make someone move etc.

Now, how the hell we plan on generating this pressure is beyond me. Have we even signed anyone yet to fill in down the line. Whoever won't be great but it's another guy to put in the mix down the line.

Did have that fmr Panthers Lb/DE who did generate some pressure in the preseason...

Think OV has been okay, sounds like they plan on just using Shelby in the same role and bringing in McCain into Wake's role.

Now if someone would explain what King Kong Suh is doing in all of this, would be much happier about generating a better pass rush sans Wake. If anything missing Wake hurts Suh's game even more in terms of passrushing.

This is a prime opportunity for a younger guy to step up.
