On the road. Starters missing on offense and defense. HORRIBLE filed position. Being down HUGE in the 1st quarter. This team fought through adversity, put their heads down and took it to em.

3 points the entire rest of the game. It was great to see us get a "lucky" bounce for once on the TD in the end zone. But if you watch that play, he saw the ball and tracked that bi t ch from the very moment it got tipped.

This was a game we would normally lose. GREAT ROAD WIN. It is SO hard to win on the road in the NFL, especially playing against an offense that doesn't allow you to sub in and out players. Great effort and heart the Dolphins showed. Now on the beating up the Cowboys.

And Tanny. This cat is one tough dude. He takes MONSTER hits every game and gets right back to it. I don't think I've seen many guys take the punishment that he has and just keep going.

I was very surprised that ball came down to Landry in the end zone. Just minutes before I was yelling at the TV about how many fumbles we've caused this year and how few seem to be recovered by us (I haven't looked up the numbers, just the perception in my head). Suh and R Jones are carrying this defense. Just need the McCains to keep pitching in and for Grimey to come back well rested and ready to go.

I am not a fan of Tannihill, BUT how was that one hit on him not illegal? the defender pretty much slammed his face with his body.

The amount of respect Tanny doesn't get from the refs is disgusting. If Brady, Rodgers, or any other top tier QB took that hit, that defender would of been ejected.

Suh and Jones on the D carried the team this weekend. They won it.

Yeah, Tannehill gets hit illegally all the time. I remember last season, Tannehill taking shots to the head, and no flags.

Any win against the NFC East on their home field is a great win.

Was it a pretty win? Not in the least but a win is a win

I'm not a hater I'm a realist. And this team has mediocre talent overall. But I still enjoy winning, to that I can't deny. I am happy anytime the Fins win even if it means lower draft picks.

Anyway... That Landry catch was friggin amazing.

I have no clue what the defense was thinking on the tip. Once the ball is tipped all PI is off. They should have grabbed Landry and pushed him down or aside. Glad it didn't happen.

On a side note; they are skewering Chip on talk radio in Philly. I'm afraid to drive by the Linc on the way home as I wouldn't doubt a fan may launch a drone strike.

The sack/safety? It looked like a clean, just brutal hit. I mean break your back hurt.

Hardy did the same to Brady. No flag. They are clean just brutal.

I think he was referring to the hit he took after his slant pass to Landry. The defender obviously hit him in the head with his body but no call.

Not sure how the rule is stated, but they definitely aren't enforcing that type of contact to the head of the QB, probably because there would be just way too many flags for sacking the QB and the NFL teams would have to start training players not to even attempt sacks, and sacks are just to big of a part of spectator fun.

Then again he's right...so there is that.

I mean, you're talking about a team that hasn't had a winning season since 2008...a team that cannot compete inside it's own division...a team that again features a losing record.

At some point you have to call a spade a spade. At this stage of the game I'd say there are realists and there are delusional people. There is no justifiable optimism in Dolphin-land. That's the God's honest truth.

It doesn't mean a win isn't a little happiness on the side, it's just not that meaningful when you're getting served a crap sandwich most every single week. ;)

It wasn't directed towards him personally, nor was it in response to the rest of his post. It was a simple statement. Overly negative people who call themselves "realists" are also delusional. So don't kid yourself, buddy.

The one CB did try to drag Landry away from making the catch, but may have been a hair too late to stop it. He was in the grasp when he caught it. Very good catch.

Remind me of our record for the past 15 years. I don't even have to defend my realist stance, the numbers support it. Of course there's something brewing behind all that mediocrity right? It's just hidden and you have to look really, really closely to find it.

Of course I'm probably talking to someone who unanimously boasts playoffs every single year, every draft pick has potential, and every free-agent is a gem.

    The truth;

Standards have dropped pretty low if this gets categorized as a GREAT win.

It was a win, that's all, it could even be called an ugly win, at the very least it wasn't pretty, but a win is a win.

I was just about to say the same thing. It's because our fans have been dining on crackers for so long. It was a quality road win, but great? We needed a Sanchez bonehead throw, a fluke tipped TD pass, and Eagles mental mistakes on their second to last drive in order to get out of there with the W.

Zactly, not to mention some really bad missed passes to WIDE open receivers, a good road win like you said, but far from a great win, 2 struggling middling teams that can't find themselves, seeing who can out mistake the other team, you wouldn't want to use film from this game to teach quality football, that's for sure.

Seriously. You pessimistic ***** are ruining this site. Theres a group of people here that do everything they can to piss and moan and complain about the team no matter what the topic is. I'm sick of these posters and I know every one else is too.

There is nothing wrong with pointing out the warts this team has and discussing it. But some take it overboard and we all know who they are. I'm getting to the point that I don't even read the posts here anymore. All this board has become is one huge argument and it's sad because Muck created one hell of a site that I used to enjoy thoroughly.

Deep down I think these "realists" are mentally incapable of handling the losses (wimps) so they prepare their fragile minds by expecting failure and **** on the people who look for the positives within the team they love.

Sorry Mods, I've hit my breaking point.

They can't even stay in their lane. This thread is clearly about positivity in celebrating the win, yet here they are with their negativity.

Anyway, you're a good poster. Don't let them get to you. Club Level is still legit.

i agree. thats why i respond to them when i can. try to keep the site from becoming like them. this site used to be great. now its one step away from FH. This constantly negative vibe is out of hand. i come here to have a good time, talk some football and relax amongst friends. these guys come here to bash the team relentlessly. stop rooting for the team if it bothers you that much. find somewhere else to bring your negativity. jets and patriots fans dont bash our team as much as some of these posters

The problem here is that you look at it from one side only, because if a poster does say something that differs from the "accepted" opinions on this site they get attacked and ridiculed for basically not being a homer, and I am not using the term homer as a bad word, I don't care if a guy is a homer, that's great as far as I'm concerned, but there are a group of posters who seek out and attack, attempt to belittle and antagonize anyone who is not "in line" with their own logic.

But since you agree with them it's not a problem right?

    Think about it.

Absolutely NOT true. I have no problem when people point out flaws. I do it all the time. I called this team a bunch of *******s just this week during the game while on this board. The difference is I don't maintain an obnoxious level of negativity that drives a wedge through the middle of this site.

Plain and simple I wish you and the others like you would leave this site.
