if the dolphins leave jason witten uncovered for 4 qtrs like they did with philly's te then we are cooked.
won 3 now lost 2...headed home with a sense of purpose, all lights will be on romo and that lil bi%ch of an owner and woman beater...I hope we start a freakin fight, I'm serious man, make a statement...do something that all of america wants to do..screw the penalty, screw the ejection, someone take their shot..man would I be proud.
the fact that both players have excellent hands should have lazor drooling, but who knows with that dude.
Hoo boy. Lot of nonsense there. By your logic, Phillip rivers is the worst starting qb in the league. Also I guess Peyton Manning shouldn't be benched cause he's 7-2 this season, right? and you pretty much proved my point. Despite the loss of big ben the steelers still won 2 games without him. The Packers signed Flynn off the ****ing street and won a game with him. The fact the Cowboys had weedon AND cassel to turn to should have resulted in a win or two. Blaine Gabbert just won a game in SF. As for my boy Tannehill, could be a good game for him. Cowboys don't bring the heat much. RT17 is pretty efficient when he's not being rushed.
Watch season 1 of "Bones". You'll understand the "Bones" reference in replying to Panda's "inductive/deductive" comparison in one of those episodes.
No, Dallas are the ones in trouble. Suh is gonna rip Romos head off, peel his skin from his body and make him watch him wear it. Ryan Tannehill is going to carve up their secondary like a butcher in a cannibalistic indigenous village, Jay Ajayi and Lamar Miller are gonna steamroll the Cowboys defenders like they just stole their Mammas china collection. Branden Albert is gonna eat the soul out of Greg Hardy and feed his corpse to the feral neighborhood mutated children that live under the stadium, Dan Campbell is going to crush Jason Garretts hand like a tin can and force him to kneel before him as Campbell swings his sword of Thor across the neck of Jason Garrett. We're going to need a lot of ambulance vehicles and body bags on Sunday for the Cowboys players. Those that do survive will be executed and fed to the three headed great white shark that Steven Ross purchased as our new team pet. Dallas is who should be in trouble.
I wish you had that written on one of your books by a critic... "He should be 6'4" and rich"-J. Tolkien
Dallas isn't any bigger of a threat than the Iggles. But we squeaked by the Eagles soo... we'll see which mediocre team prevails.
Tyrone Crawford who was a DE at Boise State. I believe he is 93 or 96 or something. Liked him coming out a couple of years back.
Honestly with Philbin coaching I'd be worried about the team having a let down. Not with Campbell. I like us, Suh is playing like a man possessed and Dallas is a team that kinda stinks. I mean they are bad. I like Campbell over Garret to be honest.
No offense to the OP but I think comparing statistical rankings is an awful way to predict a game. For instance, we've been terrible against the run for majority of the year and we just came out and absolutely stifled a pretty solid rushing attack. You just never know. I really wish Romo wasn't coming back until next week, but as fate would have it here we are. I'm just hoping that he shows signs of rust after the layoff because if he comes out sharp it could be a long day. I'm worried about Grimes vs Dez. That's a huge match up, we're going to need Brent to revert to pro bowl form. Dallas' pass rush is underwhelming, Tannehill should have adequate time to operate back there. I hope he carves that secondary up like a Thanksgiving turkey. Id feed Miller and Ajayi all day long but something tells me thats not in Lazor's plans. We need to win this game, its crucial. Would love the Jets game next week to be significant. I think we can and will handle business this Sunday!
Ha. Most of my critics aren't nearly so erudite. My favorite critical review was a one star that said, in its entirety: "Didn't read it."
Suh destroyed that line last year in the playoffs..got ripped off in the game as well, he will be properly motivated..
I have to disagree, I watched that game in particular this offseason when I was evaluating Suh, and Suh did not destroy that line. he got 2 coverage sacks and was blocked 1 on 1 a lot by Martin, and Martin won most of the time.
well I didn't rewatch it like you did but from what I remember his play had great impact on the game..but if you rewatched and isolated then I can respect.
The thing with Suh, and I get it because I was part of it, is that he makes such splash plays, and he hits with such violence that a few plays can heavily impact an opinion on him, before I went back and watched tape on Suh, I was just like everyone else, I thought he was possibly the best DT in the league, it was only when I went iso on him that I really found the truth, and I was surprised how ineffective he is at times. I've made this analogy before, Suh is like a tornado, not like a mountain, tornado's are exciting/terrifying, but aren't always a problem, and mountains are boring, but they are always right there, I prefer mountains at DT.
That's a vivid analogy. I'd caution you to recognize however that when teams can simply avoid Suh at little to no peril, it should not be taken as a condemnation that Suh is underperforming but rather that the players around him are weak.
without isolating him on every play its hard for me to partake, but I did watch every rep in college and he was the most dominant defensive player that I had ever looked at...I dont think it should be expected to dominate every play..I think in the trenches you do have to conserve energy, pace yourself, and explode..taking on double teams is tiring and a skill that should account in an evaluation, even if there is no flash play on that particular play..all double teams are flash plays.
I do get that Greg, and as I've maintained I think Suh is a very good DT, I just don't think top 3, to me he's more top 7, I think he's overrated and the big thing is that I think he's vastly overpaid, but my own personal opinion on the DT position obviously would play into that evaluation of him. Imo, the DTs are the bulwarks of the D, so I prefer guys that can't get moved by a single Olineman, I'm fine with pressure coming from DEs and LBs, we had a great dou with Starks and Soliai for a couple years, because Starks was more mountanish than Suh while providing some pass rush, and Suh is a better passrusher, but there was no running up the middle against those 2, they were beasts. If you can have 2 mountains at DT then you can still get pressure up the middle via the blitz, because if they're taking up space then it makes it easier for LBs to get through. That's my philosophy on DTs, for the record.
Starks was more of a mountain than Suh? Starks is listed at 305 while Suh, 320. What criteria are you using to define how much of a "mountain" someone is? Can't be height either, both are 6'4''.
He's not talking about weight or size. He's talking about the ability to hold your ground and not get pushed around.
Lol...your about the only person I have ever heard say that. Even Cowboys fans talked about how Suh wrecked them
For those that think Suh wasnt that dominant in that game...heres a taste: It also highlights why alot of what Suh does, does not show up on the stat sheet. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-s...-why-ndamukong-suh-is-dominant-230715709.html
there was so much more to that game...its almost an insult to use those to sacks for someone to say he was not that dominant.
lol. Two plays are highlighted as coverage sacks, so that means Suh didn't dominate the game? There's a lot of ways to wreck a line without getting sacks.
Howd DeMarco Murray do rushing the ball that day? Even Heath Evans the worlds biggest Suh hater...admits how dominant Suh was on that day
And he's arguing that Starks was able to do that better than Suh? The only reason Starks was more of a "mountain" was because he did not have the agility that Suh does. If Suh wanted to "hold his ground" he could do that more effectively than Starks (he's heavier than him, that's the basic principle to see whether someone will get moved or not). Heck, wasn't that one of the reasons people were bashing Suh in the beginning of the year? Saying that he was being used to take up space instead of attacking?
This should be the only reason Williams sees the field. Keep going after him til he snaps and starts throwing punches and gets ejected.
