You harp on other people taking things out of context yet you wouldn't know sarcasm/joke if it punched you in your mouth. You took a joke that was clearly a joke to everyone with common sense and used it to try to prove to Jdang that there was a problem. I didn't reply directly to your post yet you somehow assumed it was you. Hmm wonder why. Sometimes I feel bad for you man. You dont make it easy but it's hard to hold grudges against someone so clearly outclassed as you. You arguing football against Jdang, Fin-O or Sexton is like watching Hillary argue politics. On one hand I feel bad for you because your only companionship is probably a couple of cats. On the other hand, you bring it on yourself. These guys don't just randomly pick people to argue with. Enough about you, thill has all the talent to be a top 10 QB but he has the intangibles of a bottom feeder. Hopefully a coaching change and most importantly a change of philosophy to a ground and pound, playaction, rollout offense with some decent olinemen will turn Thill around. If not the good news is we can release the guy in a couple seasons. He's the most talented QB we have had since Marino so here's to hoping.

    Stop.

I understood it was a joke. I also understood, that poster has been one of the bigger anti-Tannehill people on the board and he feels like that Tannehill is one of the worst QBs in the league.

So yes, the words were a joke, but the sentiment behind it wasn't.

Thank god you pity me. I can sleep now.

So let's assume he does think Thill is the worst QB to ever pick up a football. Who cares? It seems as though you have nothing better to do on a daily basis then argue with people who don't see eye to eye with you and it just so happens not many do. Definitely not your process. I know Thill isn't a top 10 QB. I've seen enough to know that so what do I care if you think he is? I don't. You dont have to respond to the people you don't like and whom don't like you. It's a forum. Who gives a crap? Now I'm going to take my own advice and leave u alone. Have a blessed day of arguing on thephins buddy. I'm sure you've got nothing better to do.

its bizarro world. Luck is tough because he's injured and sitting out. I thought tough was playing through injuries like tanny has. Meanwhile everyone still wants tanny running around even though a bunch of coaches on other teams are trying to get their qbs to stop running, ie luck

If we are going to toss around quarterback rankings we should all work off the same agenda in regards to how we come to the conclusion, are we speaking of performance and 2015 are we speaking of who we would like to have a going forward etc.

Obviously there will still be a big gap in our disagreements but perhaps that would be a better talking point in making such a blanket statement in regards to rankings.

Oh yes. The old "people argue on message boards so they don't have a life" routine. That's the good stuff. As if you know what is going on in our lives.

Yeah but I'm pretty confident everyone here has lives outside of this forum. A lot of us have boring jobs and a lot of us need an escape from other problems. That's why we're here. Also because we love the Dolphins.

You likely didn't mean any harm, but that's always been a pet peeve of mine.

This forum is obviously your main focus on a day to day basis or so it seems. I just think there's better days ahead for you if you move on. But by all means continue to do u bud.

That's fine, a lot of fans are like that.

But there are also a lot of fans that love to come here and discuss our team on a daily basis. That doesn't mean anyone is right or wrong or better or worse. We all have our ways.

Critical thinking isn't your strong suit so I'll be patient. Arguing about the same thing to the same people who clearly don't respect your opinion is not the best way to use your time on a forum that you obviously value. Maybe you have a lot of free time so it doesn't matter. Just seems like a guy who doesn't have much else to do would be more inclined to talk football with those who respect his opinion. I enjoy your comments. I get laughter out of them and I would hate to see you leave this forum. I've already wasted more time than I planned on you so don't bother replying unless it's something hilarious like "pills, lots and lots of pills"

By all means discuss the fins. I'm guilty of this one as well in regards to Fin D but the pissing matches that always involves the same damn person is just ridiculous to me. At some point a man should be able to figure out why the argument always involves the same person.

    i understand alex smith has been in the league longer but hes the better qb at this point, and thats mainly because of what he does with his legs, i mean hes just about tripled the production of ryan when it comes to his running production this year...{sad}

Too bad for ryan, if he refuses to use his legs to his advantage then he should be evaluated accordingly.

Agreed. I'd take Smith over Thill for the present. He does everything Thill does and protects the ball better. Thill has more talent and can actually wing it downfield but with the oline, lazor and thill the ability to throw the deep pass doesn't seem to matter much.

at some point you have to have a winning curve and playoff appearances if your going to stay on the course you endorse..I understand that you are waiting for the payoff..lets hope your right..for me, A qb who knows how to threaten a defense smartly with his legs is invaluable in todays game..Our qb has unquestionably not figured that out, and thats concerning to me at least.

In the meantime, finding one hi level talent at guard, one fine swing tackle, and a back up center should be a priority...

Why are these things always directed at the posters who support Tannehill? I don't think I've ever seen you guys tell the anti-Tannehill posters (who happen to agree with you) to stop saying the same negative stuff all the time.

It's just the people who dispute the negative stuff who get told to be quiet.

Next year's draft should be the most offensive lineman heavy draft in the history of the NFL... Tannehill is the toughest qb in the league.

In order to play in this league long term .... you need to learn how to pass. Newton impressed me in year 2 and 3 with what looked like incremental increases in passing ability, which coupled with his legs would be unstoppable. Maybe it's receiving corps (when Ted Ginn is your #1 your GM is doing it wrong) but these past couple years I've seen him regress.

My list were those I know for a fact are better than Tannehill (up to this point) and a few that some would argue the same. Winston started off bad but by the end of the year he might be next to or past Mariotta. As a Mike Evans owner with Directv I catch their games and he's starting to look the part. He's making some good throws. But these things take time. Bridgewater is playing at a level that wouldn't make me put him in that level yet. But it's only his second year. He's playing well for a 2nd year QB (compared to Carr who is off the charts). Bortles makes too many mistakes still. You would think turnovers is something QBs will learn to avoid with time but not all do (see Mark Sanchez).

I think he was exaggerating for comedic effect.

Because you're the only thill supporter right? There's a reason you're singled out and it has nothing to do with your view on Thill. Think what you want though. If it really were just about Thill then people would be arguing with Resnor instead of you. Personally I don't give 2 ****s what your opinion of Thill is. I don't have a problem with resnor and his view on thill. I think he's wrong but he doesn't come off as a clueless schmuck. That's why he gets more respect than you do.

  33. to be honest i have begun to sour on Tanny. He is not accurate enough and misses too many reads. i sometimes wonder if lazors play calling is because his qb has such a limited skill set. im not defending lazor just not feeling like Tanny is the long term solution. whoever the HC is next year should look to the draft for a qb. at the very least i brings competition into camp. He seems way too comfortable for how he is playing

    Carson Palmer
    Sam Bradford
    Ryan Tannehill

I subtracted qbs who aren't starters. If you want to take McCown and Tyrod out that's fine too.
Tanny never had a high completion percentage throughout college and the pros until Lazor shrunk the field. But this year he looks better

Might have something to do with the distance of his throws, no? Thill has improved on his deep throws but they're far and few between. Some of which isn't his fault.

Yes, yes. The question posed to you was why aren't you calling out people doing what I'm doing but on the side of the argument you agree with.

Your answer? Because Fin D is stupid.

So to recap, I should stop arguing with people on the forum and to prove that you're gonna argue with me on the forum, but its ok because I'm stupid and you don't care what I think, even though you're spending considerable time discussing what I think.

Next you'll tell me I think I'm always right, even though you're arguing you're right.

You'll probably tell me I start these types of arguments, but you started *****ing about me in this thread.....because you don't care what I think.

Keep it up, Chief, you're doing really well.
