before i respond let's make sure we are talking about the same thing. when you say audible do you mean audibling like peyton manning can use any play in the playbook or do you mean checking out of a pass play to a designated run play that is predetermined by coach lazor

I won't humiliate you by asking who you root for. Either way this game screwed me more than you know, I had big plans on betting Michigan HARD next week, as an unbeaten OSU likely opens as atleast a 3 point fav.

Now? likely will be underdogs and rightfully so.

Look no further than Fin D. He is the one that brought it up as another excuse among many for why tannehill is an average QB. What next? Tannehill can't wear the cleats he wants.

It's important. The defense was screwing around during a walkthrough, and not letting the offense do what they're supposed to do.

Yet, you don't even know for sure what you're talking about, but you're bringing it up, and saying it's an indictment of Tannehill.

    But it really isn't.

Yeah, cause the most likely scenario is that we get rid of Tannehill.

Wow you certainly have became a real piece of work.

I explained to you why I brought it up and its valid to my point. It wasnt even a knock on Ryan, it was a knock on hiw the staff has approached him mentally.

Stop being so sensitive over another man who honestly doesnt give 2 damns about you.

You explained nothing. It's not "coddling" Tannehill to tell the defense to do what they are supposed to do during a walkthrough...which is essentially to do nothing.

You are a real piece of work.

If Tanne was a real leader, 2 things, it wouldn't have happened and he wouldn't need the coach to say anything even if it did.

The only thing I took from that is the players (defense) didn't respect the coaches, or Tannehill.

Im pretty sure we are stuck with Tannehill for one more season. the cap hit would be ridiculous if we cut him.

Still should drsft a quarterback though... If Doughty is there at the second/third round, take him...

If you want to take a chance at Cook/Goff/Lynch in the first round ill be fine with it too.

But Tannehill is not the answer.

He has all the physical tools, but lacks the mental part of the game, lacks leadership, and he has no balls.

Perfect year to take a guy to groom especially if we end up in position to take a stud in the 1st. Think we could get anything in a trade for Thill? There's got to be a couple teams out there that would take a chance on him. Just not sure with his contract. Not a lot of things worse than paying a mediocre QB like a Star.

I wonder if these guys understand that Tannehill will be here for the next few years?

I don't think they have any say in that matter.

It's no guarantee with the way his contract is structured. He will be here next year barring a trade but it isn't unthinkable that a new coach eventually wants to move on from a middle of the pack QB eating up a big chunk of payroll. The Thill contract doesn't bother me as much as the Pouncey contract or Suh. But Atleast Suh is an impact player.

But Suh wasn't viewed as an impact player early this season, when coaches weren't maximizing his skillset.

Much as Tannehill's isn't being maximized.

How is he not being maximized and how do u suggest they maximize him? Playcalling is dumb at times and the line gets swallowed up but what's your solution THIS year?

They need to roll him out. Do what Seattle does. Freaking run the ball to take some pressure off.

I have no solution for the line getting swallowed up.

Agreed on rolling him out, preferably on a play fake but a lot of what Seattle does is Wilson running on his own. Thill doesn't do that. When he actually does abliv he does well. See Cameron TD. I'd love to see Mia go to a Kubiak style offense but the running game was non existent after that 1st drive. Landry killed that drive with a drop. Better pass might've resulted in a td tho. More times than not tho running the ball especially out of the shotgun results in a 3rd and long and Thill is abysmal in such situations. Especially with D.Thomas and Fox being pushed in his lap.

Granted, I don't watch a ton of Seattle's games, but it seems that they roll Wilson out, and if he doesn't have his guy open, he runs. There are other unscripted runs, where he's able to use his elite agility to break contain from the pocket, which Tannehill will never be able to replicate.

And when he does run almost certainly one of the morons on the line will be flagged.

I am talking to YOU Jason Fox!
