Same thread as last week. Same rules. No wait and see option. Base your answer on what we have seen so far.

I'll make my vote real public. I was "yes" last week and I'm not surprisingly "No" this week. To me Dan Campbell decided he didn't want the job the second he chose to punt with 7+ minutes left down by 2 scores.

It's a firm "No" from me now.

    1) Continuing the Dallas Thomas Travesty. It's its own experience now.
    2) Decision to punt in the 4th quarter today.
    3) Playing Jamar Taylor over Bobby McCain in the 2nd half today.
    4) Giving Walt Aikens snaps over Michael Thomas.
    5) Someone has to reel Bill Lazor back in...

...not that it matters as this staff should be gone after the season.

voted no last week, voted no this week. same reason, still too inexperienced to be a head coach. he's a great story, and one day can be a good HC, but that is not now, we don't have time to lose a ton while our HC learns to coach.

He wasn't going to get the job regardless of the punt today. I'd be more upset if I thought we had any chance, even counting the possibility of a defensive penalty of picking up the first. Nonstop poopshow from this team. Maybe next year.

Obviously not. He should never have been considered a legitimate HC candidate beyond his interim status. Why anyone would take him seriously is beyond me. He's not HC material, period.

Because we like talking about the Fins?

For me, the answer was never more than wait and see. Its now been no for a few weeks. I'm excited and hopeful to start on the search for the next head coach.

No, just too young and inexperienced to be a head coach at this point in his career. Also, the whole house needs to be cleaned for next year.

I'm still voting yes, simply because Campbell inherited Tannehill and he couldn't bench him right out the gate. If these struggles continue though and we don't see Moore in action, then I'm likely to vote no in another few weeks. But for now, this team is still playing worlds better than they did under Philbin and I think he still deserves the nod.

That's how I feel tonight. I didn't vote last week because I was on the fence still. Maybe it's just an overreaction from todays game making me vote tonight, but reading this post of yours, is a painful reminder of things that need to change, and still haven't. Combine those, with that decision to punt in the 4th quarter with 6 to go, seeing how Dallas just shredded your defense after you scored to tie it up, and I'm on the no side unless he shows major growth and ability to learn and adapt. That was a bad, bad decision. It essentially ended the game.

I think he will be a good HC coach candidate down the road, he's got alot to learn, and I don't want another head coach, learning on the job with this team.

The 4th and 6 playcall should have no sane person calling for Campbell to keep this job. Absolute nonsense.

Well, let me ask you this. Did we lose today because we didn't go for it on 4th and 6? Or did we lose for about a dozen other reasons?

While I agree with you, punting on 4th and 6 was a moot point. The defense was on the field all day long because the offense couldn't stop killing drives with penalties, and Campbell believed that they could get the stop and flip the field position. He was wrong...our D was dead tired...and we lost the game anyway. But that one call certainly didn't cause a pick-6 or an overthrow to a streaking Landry for an easy TD grab. There's 14 points there alone in two plays by Tannehill; yet the loss is solely on Campbell?

I'm sorry, but there were too many positives today to say Campbell failed today.

Punting on 4th down was a sissy move.

Urban Meyer would never have done that.

If you're a 7-3 team you can get away with it. If you're a 4-5 team fighting for a playoff spot there is no excuse for it. Absolutely no defending it.

That playcall made or break his candidacy. No ifs ands or buts about it. There is no way that any Dolphins fan can say "Great call by Campbell punting here." There is no way. 0 chance. Absolutely no way.

You can save yourself some time and energy and end this weekly poll, the answer has been the same since the day Philbin was fired. No way Tannenbaum was gonna roll the dice on a TE's coach after getting a 2nd crack at running team.

I don't see any reason at all to keep Campbell as our HC. None.
