Stephen Ross absolutely deserves this.

Getting spanked yet again by the team he really wanted to buy...wow did the Jets dodge a bullet there!

These Jets losses are brutal, week 4 cost Philbin his job, this game will surely be the nail in the coffin for Campbell, and of course we can't forget about that glorious loss to Geno Smith in week 17 in 2013 that forced the Ginger embarrassment out.

time to lose out and get a top 5 pick.

At least he fired Philbin. Whether he can find a good enough replacement we'll see, but that was a nightmare that almost never ended.

Don't worry, we have Tannehill in place, coaches will be lining up for miles once Ross makes it clear he is our starting QB through 2020.

Yah he did but he also let philbin dispose of some of our most talented players in the last decade with b.Marshall, v.Davis and others simply because they weren't "philbin robots" who aren't allowed to say a word to the press or even be emotional in the locker room or try to be a leader on the team. I am so disgusted when I look back at the damage philbin did to the not so bad talent-wise team that he inherited... I'm convinced this game turns out a lot differently if you take Marshall off the jets and add him to miami. Instead we trade away the best receiver we've had in a long long time right before t-hill's rookie season so he never even had a chance to have that vitally important big #1 possession type receiver. Such a joke and such a disappointment. The life of a dolphins fan...

He also was sold a bill of crap with Parcells, Henne and another failed QB prospect.

Through Ross' soft *** and his "advisers" Philbin was allowed to stay on one more year than he should have been, it had disasterous results.

And who is responsible for handing Tannehill this contract so now we're stuck with him? Ross through Tannebaum... he's another guy I don't trust to turn this team around.

I'm starting to think it's worse than we even know.

He deserves it for not firing Philbin a few years back when we dropped two games to finish the season against lesser AFC East opponents with the playoffs on the line. It had to be obvious that Philbin can't get teams ready to play big games but he let his personal feelings for Philbin get in the way which I can kind of understand but still you have to make tough calls as an owner and he's shown himself to be gunshy. He does spend his money on the Stadium and players so he has some good qualities but he needs to make better decisions about the coaching staff. I don't trust Tannenbaum to build a team either so I don't really have any hope for the near future. We need to get a good draft pick, get competition at the Qb position and fix the goddamn offensive line for ****s sake.

You think it's bad now? Wait until coaches interview in that convoluted mess in Davie. We may get passed over until we have to hire another mediocre assistant.

That is a ridiculous mentality. Who we drafting?
Sorry it's a flawed mentality and I want no part of it. You go sit in a pile of your own misery and
then it will be a *****ing process over the next draft pick that doesn't satisfy your ego.
Go put a bag on your head.

You mean all those high class loser A holes. Maybe they could organize an event to sign Matt Flynn.
That worked well. Putting a bag on your head in protest makes one look foolish. Enjoy.

You know if our owner doesn't have the slightest clue, how can we expect him to hire the right people who do? That's what I'm most worried about. Tannebaum draft history... in all those years I don't think he drafted more than a handful of top level talent.

Maybe a coach will be like, if Philbin can get 3 years and 4 weeks, i should be able to get 10 years! Plus Ross is willing to pay big money, so I do think we can get a big name coach if wanted too..

edit: im trying to find some positive in the negative

Fair enough..... I should have said idiots who want to lose to get a better draft pick and then cry when we play bad.
It's a bailout and an I told you so from fans who can't commit. Produces a bad fan who wears a grocery bag on his or her head.

The real problem is there aren't a lot of quality head coaching candidates this year and there are much better jobs which appear to be opening up for the few candidates which the Dolphins might be interested in.

If Pagano is let go with the Colts, Luck will be a much more enticing QB than Tannehill for the better head coaching candidates.

The Giants and Chargers both will probably be hiring new head coaches. New York and Eli Manning would certainly be a bigger desire for the better coaching prospects. The Chargers are likely relocating to the L.A. area and Rivers has more appeal than Tannehill.

The Dolphins will probably end up competing with some of the other bottom teams for the second and third tier head coaching candidates. Hopefully they will end up with a coach who will be an upgrade over what they have had since Ross has been the majority owner, but I just don't have a lot of confidence he will get it right this time either.
