The real interesting part IMO will be seeing how they do the Joker/Harley dynamic. In the new 52 reboot they fight each other as the joker is straight up crazy as **** er more so.

Seriously... Terrible choice for Lex Luthor. I don't understand why directors can't get that character right. It's not that hard.

I thought that was actually a pretty decent line.

Eisenberg has a good shot to present the spirit of Luthor, just not the physical aspect. It's a shame that Bryan Cranston didn't get the job, though.

Yes. Cranston as Luthor and (I may be in the minority) Jon Hamm as Batman, with Alex Ross as Art Director and Bruce Timm in charge of literally everything else.

Eisenberg is playing his usual self it appears. I'm not sold on him presenting the spirit of Luthor. And yeah, how could they of missed the boat on Bryan Cranston, he was totally down to play the part too. Hollywood out thinking themselves, as usual. Hell, I would of been happy with Michael Rosenbaum reprising his role as Lex Luthor after Cranston. Best Lex Luthor to date and it's not even close.

I think it's a bad idea to pull any TV actor into a movie role. Smallville was a pretty awful show IMO.
Cranston could definitely of pulled it off, but I think I would have trouble seeing him as a super genius given all the roles he's played in the past.

Considering he's most well known for playing a bald super genius, I gotta disagree. I held off on breaking bad when I first started seeing commercials for it because he was Malcom in the Middle's father... And if Cranston's previous roles put you off, how does Eisenberg compare? What a dumb decision. And despite Smallville not being a great show, Rosenbaum was awesome as Lex Luthor.

I still haven't had time to watch Breaking Bad, so maybe that would change my perception. But like I said, Cranston could probably pull off any role he plays.
and I didn't say Eisenberg was a better choice. personally, given my age, no one will ever surpass Gene Hackman.

Obviously Cranston would have been awesome as Lex but I don't think he was ever seriously considered for the role. WB wanted someone closer to Superman's age. And yes I have my concerns with Eisenberg too, nothing I saw from him in the trailer really stood out to me. But he is a pretty good actor so I'm going to hold off full judgment until I saw the whole movie.

It would be nice to see Hamm as dark and brooding as opposed to drunk and sleazy for a change.

    And he has the jaw.

It was difficult to follow, but he convinced me. I think he's right about Affleck being Slade Wilson rather than Bruce Wayne.

The writing is clear enough to follow considering the author is a Brazilian for whom English is an alternate language.

The theory is on really shaky evidential ground, but would be amazing if true.

that I agree with. it does make sense. but there's more than one person that has put this idea out on the internet, so not sure we can attribute it to this guy.
The idea of Affleck being Slade is really damn cool plot twist if it does happen. If it does, this guy is brilliant.

Well I guess the new trailer settles the Bruce Wayne/Batman debate. Thought it looked cool but didn't give me the same feelings from watching any of the Nolan Batman trailers that the movie is going to be awesome. We'll see in March.

I'm not sure it's possible for anything to make me feel the way the Nolan trailers did. But these are getting increasingly better. I'm actually liking Superman, and I'm about as big a Batman fan as you can get.

The last 2 minute trailer is god awful. Gives away the entire plot, shows
Supes and Bats working together, wonder womens climatic entrance, and the reveal of ****ing Darkseid?!!??!!? Thanks for saving LITERALLY NOTHING to the actual movie experience. Waiting for Blu Ray now. ****ing ridiculous.

I think everything you put in the spoiler tag was pretty obvious was going to happen at some point in the movie so outside of the reveal of a villain I think it was fine what was shown.

I don't agree. Every Teaser or trailer up until this point of the movie has been vague, dark, and got you slowly excited.

This one seemed like it was "oh ****! Civil War is getting a ton of hype after their trailer, BRING OUT THE CANNONS!!!!"

    and changed course completely.

So you didn't think eventually Batman and Superman would team up to fight a bad guy and Wonder Woman would help out as well? I really don't think we saw anything besides who a villain would be that would spoil the movie.

The major spoiler was that they hinted that Zod will become Doomsday thanks to Luthor.

I also think its a major mistake to portray Luthor has an evil Google employee, instead of the animated series version.
