I want to bet Sacramento -6 tonight....something seems off with the Knicks and they are on a b2b on the WC. Thoughts?
Ed Malloy is on that call tonight, and he is notorious for giving **** to Home Teams. Home Teams are 7-11 ATS with Malloy. 11-7 SU. he alone deters me at that number of -6. Knicks are 17th in Def. Eff. and Sacramento is 2nd in PACE while being 28th in Def. Eff.....the Over./Und of 209 looks to be juicy for the over. The OVER looks almost too good to be true. Had not seen it...but I'm on it now. So you either made me money or cost me some tonight.
Bro! I was just coming on here to rant. I was doing the live bet. I put 100 on them. I ****ing lost man!!!!! Ughhh I hate Melo. Stupid shot jacker
That shot he took at the end....when he had PorzinGod wide open down low for an easy 2 and...OT!..which would have put me 12 points in 5 minutes away from my cover. SOB.
Oh well..Ed Malloy Came through again (I wish he wasn't so predictable with his Home team whistle beatdown, but I'll take the money he hands out)...hope Fin-O jumped on the Knicks at +6. I didn't have them...although I should have. I was just stuck with a dead OVER ticket.
Sixers handed Brett Brown a contract extension because hes keeping the tank healthy. I really dont see any other reason than that.
Heat need a real NBA offense in the fourth quarter. All they have is Wade, Wade, Wade, Wade, Wade, Wade, Wade.
Had Sac and the Over.... tonight had Heat, Cavs with CHA pending. Ive never been very good at betting basketball....tonights games I tailed a guy on a forum, no matter the result I have no feel for any of these teams.
The lack of shooting is really catching up. Turnovers a major problem. You can't play slow and turn it over 16 times or whatever it was. Virtually impossible to win that way.
Hassan Whiteside vs. Indiana is a problem. He ALONE contributed to all the fouls they called on our guys because he was slowing down our rotations. If you look at the numbers at the half, we should have been up 14 or so...that was enough to weather their run in the 3rd..and we hold on for the win. Funny how the ultimate big and tough team became the MOST committed small ball team in the NBA. At one point, they had two PF's out there for like 4 minutes...and then played SF's at the #4 all night with 3 guards. If we play them in the playoffs, it wouldn't surprise me if Spo benched Hassan and used him to spell Bosh for 15 minutes a game.
Whiteside only played 17 minutes almost all of it in the 1st and 3rd quarters. How are we blaming him? The past 3 games his minutes have been limited and we've gotten killed anyway. Our roster doesn't fit. Our best players are all most effective in different styles. This wouldn't be as big a problem if we could shoot 3s but we can't. I don't know what the solution is but we need a change whether in personnel or scheme.
Apparently Whiteside posted a picture of a lion in a cage and then deleted it...interesting. Can't play at this pace and turn it over like this. Execution has been rough. There were a few times last night where Dragic, Bosh, and Wade were practically running into each other. Gerald Green too. Weird, clunky offense. HEAT are 3rd in the NBA in 2pt FG% though...cut down on the turnovers and execute. I think the roster is good enough; I really do. Most of the roster is shooting below their usual %, but it's not like we aren't creating good looks. Ultimately this is a veteran team with high-IQ players. Gotta say though that Dragic and McBob just don't look like the guys we signed. Dragic's game is almost unrecognizable from who he was in Phoenix; and McBob's got no confidence. As creator types with solid jump-shots, we'll be in good shape if they can get it going.
Had a feeling Warriors would lose.. Too vulnerable coming out of a double OT on a friday then playing a game the very next day.
I guess no team has ever gone 7-0 on a roadtrip that long...tough task, and last night was #7. They've already played 15 games on the road, too.
Interesting stat for those who it applies...dating back to 2013 the Knicks who are generally a low scoring team have 14 consecutive overs with the Tony Bro's on the floor. Coincidence? Melo did what Melo does last night to avoid a WC donut.
Thats pretty crazy, theyre going to have a very favorable schedule the rest of the way with all those home games
I think Dragic is the one who doesn't fit. He's a very good PG but I don't think our system suits him. He needs to be on a running team that shoots alot of three's. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
Fun win but still not sustainable. We just don't have the pieces to play the way Spo wants to play. I think we have to make some kind of trade.
Haventry watched as many Heat games as you guys but I would say this is correct. Some players are just not as effective in a half court set and Dragic seems to be one. He's better in an up tempo environment which doesn't fit with the rest of the team.
A win is a win is a win is a win...right? Needed that one real bad. I do wonder if, once TJ gets back, Dragic is first to get subbed out so he can get more run with the 2nd unit. Winslow finally made some shots in the 4th...keep at it, rook. I also thought Whiteside looked concerningly disinterested on the bench as we (Wade) made that run...it was kinda weird. On top of it, he didn't play well either. Ergh.
LOL. Memphis plays big...Spo stands put with Hassan...10 pt deficit ......Spo then decided to go small....out scores the big memphis front line....23-10 down the stretch. Lmfao. Point made....good for Spo.
It worked once out of the last 4 games. And it only worked yesterday because Wade's hero ball came through. We're not good enough, unfortunately. That January schedule will kill us
This was the first time a team played a Big lineup down the stretch in the last 4 games. The other three, Hassan was useless vs. the personnel that was out there. In THIS CASE, the personnel was tailor made for Hassan, and Spo said "**** you..I'll prove a point". and BOY DID HE. The January Schedule is what I told you it was. Gotta shoot for .500 in the month.
