Might as well start, this season is toast.

    1. Jaylon Smith OLB Notre Dame

Goes about 6-3, 235 lbs. Attack LB regardless of a lack of college sacks. Superb athlete, video game speed, quickness and lateral agility not quite on Alec Ogletree's level but highly impressive nonetheless. But can he set the edge? What's up with Dion Jordan, should he factor in at all at OLB or is he a goner? Lord help me if the FO keeps him at DE. How bad is Chris McCain's knee injury? Can he really play or did he just tease us? Is he another OLB/DE type that the coaching staff can't figure out what to do with? That dude is a lanky OLB, outright skinny DE. Whatever, get Smith on a team that lacks play makers on defense and especially LB.

    2. Cameron Sutton CB/KR Tennessee

Has some height and length, built for speed and cat quick. Solid cover corner and kick returner. Can go up for the ball, pretty good hands, it's his quickness that strikes me more that his straight line speed, a bit unusual for a taller, lankier player. Playmaker. Hasn't declared for the draft yet but is thinking about it from what I read.

    3. Joshua Garnett OG Stanford

High pick Offensive Lineman. I don't care. Until this organization can make decent decisions as per OL talent after the gimmees in the 1st round (Jake Long, Mike Pouncey) and pricey free agents (Branden Albert) they have to keep pumping that well before Tannehill is killed and Lamar Miller maimed. There should be a fine and maybe a jail sentence for starting Dallas Thomas on any NFL offensive line at any position. Garnett fits the bill, big/powerful dude but he can play in a ZBS or any other system. He can crush people at the OL and get out to the second level easily and effectively.

That leaves Free Safety as per the death needs. Didn't we take one in the 4th round a couple of years ago? Paging Walt Aikens...

Excellent choices jim1. To be honest, idk if Garnett will be available in the 3rd. Very violent blocker. I just hope the necessary homework is done on him, i.e. J.Martin. I know, everyone is different but hopefully Garnett loves football. And don't sweat spending a high pick. Any1 who complains about that clearly hasn't been paying attention these past, idk 7-8 years.

Sutton's cuts are sick! Says he'll make a decision after their bowl gm.

    We NEED Jaylon.

Watch the Garnett play at 1:09 and tell me you don't love that:

Nice twofer, trashes one defender at the LOS and then another far down field, decimates him. I think that he loves football, and he makes Dallas Thomas look like Cleveland Brown Jr., who is a nice kid by the way.

I'm starting to wonder if Sutton is good enough for a trade down, particularly if Hargreaves/Ramsey/Smith are off the board. If another team has a particuar interest in Paxton Lynch or Connor Cook... an extra 2nd round pick would be a welcome addition, particularly this year with all of the needs that we have on defense and the OL.
