Sad to watch jets be the team we were supposed to be.

Win in the trenches and win football games. They have a very good OL and a great defense. That is the recipe of a good football team.

We go after WR's, neglect glaring needs at OL and LB. Needless to say we get dominated at the LOS all season long which renders all of our skill position players useless.

I think this is the worst group of linebackers the dolphins have ever had.

I guess its what we get for making fun of them before the season and thinking they, along with Washington, would be NFL doormats.

Its nice that all these teams can make the playoffs. While the Dolphins stay in the company of these franchises: Browns, Bills, Raiders, Rams, Lions.

Solid QB play is only good enough when the rest of the team is also solid. That's not exactly the case in Miami...

DR or CB all the way unless the cupboard is bare at those spots and a blue chip MLB or FS available. More than anything this team needs an identity.

Actually it's the Redskins that represent what the Dolphins could have been post Lazar. Even with the meddling a-hole of Dan Synder, Jay Gruden has gotten the best out their entire roster.

Love their scheme and how their personnel fit especially after demoting McBob.

Yeah, because he's clearly better than even Tom Brady. After all, he beat him yesterday. And ol' Tom didn't do what it takes to win.

The Jets bet the Patriots who were without their top 2 WR and BOTH starting Safeties AND lost their RT and his backup by halftime. And the Jets needed OT and a dumb decision by the hoodie to win the game. The Jets be one and done and next year be lucky be 4-12. Their weak schedule helped them a lot, the only above .500 team they faced? Patriots.

A win is a win. You dont get less in the standing if the other team is dealing with injuries.

Bery true, main point is they are not that good, I was giving the Pats stats for that one person who come back and say "well they bet the 12-2 Pats" their schedule was a cupcake schedule.. And I am picking the Bills to beat them in the finally as they are the Jets..

Other than the Jets playing the Raiders, instead of the Chargers. The Dolphins played the same teams this season that the Jets did.
The Raiders are better than the Chargers this year, so they actually had a harder schedule than the Dolphins.
Unfortunately for the Dolphins, they didn't get to play against themselves twice.

I am certainly not a Jets fan, but they obviously are much better than the Dolphins at this time and have a far superior coaching staff.
Since the Dolphins and Jets will have similar schedules next year. I guess based on your 4-12 prediction for the Jets next year. You obviously think the Dolphins will be 2-14 or 1-15 in 2016.

I think arguing the semantics of another teams win is just an emotional deflection from how bad the Dolphins are. I mean we did just have an injury ridden team beat us.

Next year ear is brutal with the AFC North and NFC West. But with the Phins getting the Titans and Chargers and the Jets getting either Denver/KC and INdy I like the Phins chances for 2 more wins.

The bills are better than us also as the 38-11 Average scores against us in the afc east this year doesn't get any worse than that.We flat out suck this year.

I stated before the year started I thought the Bills would be better than the Dolphins. I just didn't see the Jets being much better than both the Dolphins and Bills.

The Bills have the Ultimate time bomb in Rex Ryan. that group will implode next year with internal infighting. This is MY prediction for next years AFC East: (Obviously not taking drafting or FA moves)

Pats 12-4 (They sweep the division and go 3-1 with AFC North (Lose to Ravens) and 2-2 with NFC West (beat Rams and 49ers) only other loss comes to Cincy as long as it is not a prime time game.

Dolphins 7-9 (split with Buffalo and Jets lose both to NE, 2-2 in AFC North (Beat Cleveland and Ravens) NFC West 1-3 (Beat 49ers) Beat both Chargers and Titans

Bills 4-12 (Split with Jets and Phins, 1-3 AFC North (beat Cleveland)and NFC West 1-3 (beat 49ers) Lose both other games against (Raiders, Jaguars)

Jets 4-12 (Split with Jets and Phins, 1-3 AFC North (Beat Cleveland) and NFC West 1-3 (beat 49ers) lose both other games against (KC, Indy)

That's really funny, dude. Take off the teal colored glasses. You don't even know who your coach is going to be and you have them being 3 games better than the Jets. You probably had the Jets winning 3 games this year.

The Jets are better than Miami in virtually every area. If you want to claim you have a better qb, have at it. I won't agree or disagree. But ol, receivers, rb, dline, secondary, coaching......come on. Now is not the time to be crapping on the Jets, especially when your team is a train wreck.

I really like B. Powell. But I won't argue rb's if that makes you feel better. All I know is that NY beat the living snot out of Miami twice this year and this guy has them being 3 games better than the Jets next year. My post is not about me claiming how good the Jets are. I could see them losing to the Bills next week. It's more of a commentary on the Jets as compared to the Dolphins.

Their defense is ridiculous. Scary. And they didnt have to give a player 60+ million guarantee to get that good. Leonard Williams is a monster and just a rookie, ive said before this guy is going to be elite, like JJ Watt.

We are far awayfrom being that good on defense. Very far. We need two corners, a safety, a franchise MLB to build around, and a defensive end since Wakes days are numbered.

It helps very much when you have both coaching and talent. I still wish we had given Bowles a job post fistpumper or at least fired Philbin in a timely enough manner to get in on a better coach. Now we're twisting in the wind hoping someone can unscrew the current mess. Good news is at least we're already bottom in the division, so there's nowhere to go but up.

Okay, I'll play. My prediction for next year is:

    Jets 11-5

    Patriots 10-6

    Bills 8-8

    Dolphins 6-10

I refuse to pick the Dolphins to have a winning record until they actually have at least one winning season. I also see them as the least talented team in the division and it is going to take more than one offseason to rectify this situation.

Was watching the Vikings game last night and I remembered Ross passed on Mike Zimmer because Zimmer was too tough/aggressive on his interview lol. Thats another team that had zero direction and mediocre just like us and now theyre in position for a division title next week and are already in the playoffs.
