The reason Lippett had a chance there is because OV got to Brady. He couldn't really plant well. I wish OV wasn't so stupid, cause he is getting to the QB pretty well.
Spot on. Great example of how pressure can effect a QB. He got a good shot on Brady. Lippet stretching out for that was impressive though. Great job.
I like Lippett. I honestly felt he could be a solid NFL WR. Probably a 500 yard guy but one with size and therefore fade/back shoulder potential. Not bad to have a 6'2" guy in the secondary though. If he comes along and becomes a quality starter then that allows us to match up better with some teams. Allen Robinson and Brandon Marshall are the type of guys you want him to handle. They feasted on our tiny DB's this season.
In a contract year, he has, what? Seven sacks? About that many personal fouls? No way you give a guy like that a big contract.
Nice touch by Tannehill. A little earlier and Williams has a chance to house that. If he can speed that process up by a few tenths of a second (i.e. show a but more anticipation on the throw) then he can do some really nice things on the field.
@RefereeJimD: That's a catch in Miami and not an incomplete pass..but hard to tell how New York will rule on this action
Mike Carey has to be on something. If that's an incomplete pass by the rule, then the rule needs to be changed. EDIT: The hit came after the second step. Carey isn't even right on this man. The NFL is bull****.
He was making a 'football move' after catching it. Ground can't cause a fumble and all that. The NFL and their refs.
Well done Tannehill on getting 4000 passing yards again He's played well today too, happy with him for next season. Got something to build on with Parker
Both feet down, with possession, ball still in possession after the knee hits the ground. That's a catch damnit.
