When did that song come out? I remember it from when I was younger and its actually a country song I like. Actually a lot of the older country I can listen too but this new country is just awful IMO.

Actually the song is quite fitting to what I think happened to country music.

 

It came out in 2000. 99% of the new country singers stink..

Yeah that's about right. BTW who would be the 1% of the new generation you do like? By new generation I mean new generation with this new sound.

 

Tim Mcgraw, toby Keith (some),clay Walker,alan Jackson,craig Morgan few others along that line... as they have that older sound.

 

How about Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Kellie Pickler.

Also I agree with McGraw, Walker, and Jackson. I don't like Morgan though.

Actually as far as Keith goes I agree with you whole heartedly. I really like his older stuff like "should of been a cowboy" and his 90s music.
