Front Office move - New 'Senior Personnel Executive'

Stokes came from Tampa with Hickey. Guessing he's a glorified paper pusher now.

 

Like this move, I was wondering where Eric Stokes was. I remember seeing him in the press conference videos after each draft pick last year... well spoken and seems to be very knowledgeable.

 

For those of you who don't know who he is, check out this video. He's the guy who speaks right after Hickey about a minute in. And then Chris Grier, our new GM, speaks right after Stokes as well.

I'm not one who cares much about ethnicity one way or another. I'd rather look at everyone as an individual as much as possible. However, for the sake of the Rooney Rule and Ross' RISE program, the fact that two of our top personell guys and our new DC are all African American has to be something that is looked at in a positive light in that regard by people outside of our club.

The guy that runs the Dolphins PR department is also a black man. Say what you will about Ross, and I personally think he's a hack and a stooge, but he does run a diverse organization.

 

meh screw all the political correctness that don't win games.. African American, Caucasian, Asian, I don't give a rats *** get the RIGHT person for the JOB not a color....
