Absolutely. And hopefully that year is this year. Just because I feel like I need to see more regardless of X, doesn't mean I dont think he can be a successful QB. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The run game isn't anywhere near as strongly correlated with points differential in the NFL, however, and so the run game isn't a link in the sequence of events I posted above. Points appear to be driven far more by QBs than by running games. It's a "QB-driven league," as they say.
I'm not denying that. I'm pointing out a flaw in your line of thinking. The fact is, though, running is a big part, and it does affect the offense as a whole, especially if you aren't running the ball.
See, it's funny, the one sack they showed in the beginning, he was sacked because he didn't dump it off. This year everyone whines that he threw short too much. Lose/lose for the guy.
Doesn't matter. He had a streak of 6 games where he was a Top 5-10 QB when the line was playing at just an average level and that means nothing...cause that's a small sample size and means nothing. This one play on the other hand? Boom, proof.
That's it? Sterling Sharpe gave one example of where he didn't come off his primary read quick enough. Show me an example of an expert saying that RT has a consistent issue with holding the ball too long because every QB in the league gets caught holding the ball at some time. A more recent example would be nice as well.
I do think Sterling makes an interesting observation in this video. He says that either Tannehill isn't trusting what he sees or doesn't believe in what he is being taught in that offense.
Those don't matter. He was told he couldn't produce a link and he did. That was the burn. Try and keep up
