Damn. That is horrible news. I always liked the guy. Even posted on one of his sites. Jetssuck and bigbry. We are all a little less for having them gone. Heaven is starting to get a pretty good dolphins section
Damn, this ****ing sucks. Wherever he is now, I trust he's making many laugh there. The rest of us comedians now need to pick up the slack... not you BPK.
Yeah, really sucks.. especially losing a long time poster like BigBry. Funny guy who will truly be missed.
Sucks. Loved that guy. Talked to him a few days before he passed. This news hit me right in the feels.
So sorry to hear this. Bry was so unabashedly authentically himself it made you love the guy. Brash, funny and already missed. Condolences, Leah.
RIP Bigbry. Really going to miss you and your posts. Will wear my Fanhell tshirt in your honor all weekend
Really sorry to hear this and my thoughts are with you and your family. I was 24 when I lost my mother, it's way too young to lose a parent. I didn't know Bigbry but his sense of humor is well known on these forums. I distinctly remember several years ago on finheaven when he spent literally weeks (maybe even months?) convincing people that he had become a Bills fan. It was a beautiful thing the way he had people turning on him only to have the last laugh in the end. Very Andy Kaufman-esque IMO.
anyone want to go in on getting jersey made in his honor and send it to Leah? if we can get like 30 people to throw in 10 bucks we can make it happen.
Wow, that is truly sad news. Sincerest condolences to his family and close friends. I only had a few interactions with BigBry here on the board, but he struck me as a cool dude with a dry sense of humor. He will be sorely missed. Hope he's commiserating with Jetssuck right now, looking down and laughing at us fools going at it on a daily basis because of a football team...LOL. On an aside, that clown avy of his always kinda spooked me. Kept expecting the eyes to pop open at any second. Rest in peace brother....
Damn. I'm so sorry for your loss. I met Bry on a few other boards. We had it out many a times over the years. He and I rarely saw eye to eye, but I respected him and loved his sick sense of humor. If my next beer tastes like pee I'll know it was Bry's doing. That bastard! (All meant with the greatest respect for your father)
Hey all, sorry it took me a bit to get back here and read your replies. It's been difficult, as im sure you all can imagine and I wasn't sure if I was ready to come back around here just yet. I'm glad I did, though. reading all your replies warmed my heart. I'm glad so many of you have fond memories of my dad with his intelligence, generosity and his unique humor. He and I spent years, giving each other a hard time and sharing stupid internet vids/pics. After I moved out, I always looked forward to holidays where I'd share drinks with him and my mom and we'd spend the night laughing. Thank you, all of you for being great friends and an awesome community. I think I'll be around here a bit, I know there was a good reason why he stuck around so long. I'll try to send out some individual responses here in the next few days. I'm really thankful for all your kind words and brohumor here, guys. Reading the replies on this forum made me tear up a bit, smile and laugh, seriously thank you.
Damn.....Bry was the man....First JS now this, FanHell was indeed cursed, it is finally coming back to us all the **** we talked on that site of the years.... Yeah Sam scary clown indeed, going to miss him, always the good ones....smh. Godspeed you twisted nut...
So sorry for your loss Leah...Bry definitely made it more lively around here and will be missed terribly. My prayers to you and your family.
Very sorry for your loss Leah. I've known your dad on Dolphins forums going back about 15 years. He was a character with a great sense of humor, but he was also very knowledgeable on the Dolphins and football, when he chose to express that side. I think it was when we were both on a relatively smaller forum back in the midst of the Wanny years, dolfantalk.net, and there were probably no more than 20 regular active posters, including he and I. I am west coast and he was mountain time as I recall, and late one night it was like the entire forum had gone to sleep for the night except us two. So as everyone else dropped out one by one, we ended up carrying on a back and forth of serious Dolphins football talk in one thread very late into the night that I can only recall being enjoyable and thought provoking. It seemed like as forums closed and new ones started we would end up on the same ones. There are very few names here that I can recall knowing on forums going back farther than Bigbry. I have lost a parent at a very close age as you are right now Leah, and so I know how you feel. There is no getting around it, it's tough. Time is the greatest healer. Even so, many years later, I still think of both my parents every single day in one way or another and how lucky I was to have had them as parents, and I am pretty sure you will carry on some great and fond memories with you for the rest of your life.
Big by was an original kind of man. He will be missed here by many. Thank you for keeping his phamily here notified.
A member of the site CashInFist extends his best wishes and that he cared about Bigbry and he will be missed. Hope all is well.
Same with Debby...had no idea this page existed. And again, was wondering where Bry was a couple of months ago. Funny as all hell. Would love it when he, McLovin, and the other guys would go back and forth in the Lounge. As a lurker, I laughed a TON. RIP man.
did you see the jersey we all pitched in for and got his daughter? http://www.thephins.com/forums/showthread.php?88498-Big-Bry-Jersey-and-Donation-thread
