I was thinking he could bring leadership and depth to the defense. Limiting him to a situational LB could help with his health. Probably just my Hurricanes homerism shining through.
Beason is a walking M.A.S.H. unit at this point, 5 games last year and 4 games in 14, so he's only played a half season in the past 2 years. Good LB that just can't stay on the field.
