Sucks for Bosh. Really unlucky with this issue. Good thing they were on alert this time and caught it early. Still it is what, just over a year since last? That's got to be concerning.
First deal goes down: Pistons finalizing deal to send Tobias Harris from Magic for Brandon Jennings & Ersan Ilyasova, source told Yahoo. Pistons ROBBED Orlando.
I'm not even sure we can hold a playoff spot without Bosh We could barely score before And I have major concerns going forward with Bosh as our anchor player. Obviously his health is the primary concern but the team has to plan.
That's more along the lines of what I was thinking too. I don't think the 3-seed is do-able with our best player missing 12+ games. Not with some of these east teams playing the way they have been. As for the long-term stuff, let's get a doctor in here... There must be a pick involved in the DET-ORL deal, no? Otherwise yeah, Detroit's the clear winner.
Stein reporting Channing Frye available This is the kind of smaller deal we should be looking at Poor man's Bosh and history of success with Dragic
Oof you're right Hadn't even thought about the contract Though he's better than McBob at similar numbers
Micky Arison just tweeted this: Happy to report that Paris is still Paris. Beautiful, Romantic, Lively and Expensive. Wonderful as always. #noreasontofear NBA does drama better than anybody.
screw the terrorist attack..we are talking CB and Trade deadline stuff here! You know..important stuff.
That...is not what my mother was told. She does not have the hereditary gene for it either. Nor is she permanently on medications. She was told it has to do with the damage the original clots do to the cardio-pulmonary system, makes you very likely to have the problem again. She had the same thing as Bosh, a few blood clots showed up at the bottom of her lung.
Bonnie Bernstein, the former sideline reporter suffers from DVT and wrote a Facebook post about this Long story short, somebody that travels a lot, who has had this issue should be on the blood thinners permanently The only reason Bosh isn't on them is because he can't play while taking them. And if he's truly taken all the preventative measures and it still happened again, it may keep happening over and over This isn't something that's not a big deal. He may not be able to manage it while playing. I am very concerned moving forward
Heat acquire Brian Roberts of Charlotte in 3 team deal No idea what we gave up or who Brian Roberts is lol
This move doesn't even get us fully under the tax. If that's the goal at this point need another move
Salary dump for cheap...it's fine. Good memories of Bird. FWIW I kinda remember watching Roberts a little...small guy with a good jump shot. Kinda quick, not really a PG, more of a scorer. I doubt he ever plays.
Even if it doesn't take them under the tax, it still saves them quite a bit of money, no? Because they're repeaters, isn't every dollar something like tripled.
Yeah i think Deng should pack his bags.. I dont expect any moves that will help this season especially after the Bosh news. We are probably going to dump salary any way possible. Firesale time.. If we can somehow get some picks for Deng and Whiteside package, go for it..bwe are gonna have to get lucky in draft and free agency.
Ethan Reporting that Hassan Whiteside has made his intention known that he wants to resign with Miami this offseason, and he now expects to not be traded.
Heat trying to pull off Casspi deal or a massive three way deal that finds Ryan Anderson here. it is clear that they view Goran Dragic as the chess piece to pawn off in a trade.
Anderson is a FA at year's end, right? So the team is still going all-in even with Bosh's injury? I get that Anderson is only 27 so they could re-sign him - but jeez they already have an injury-prone stretch 4 on the team.
Interesting. Do the Heat want to keep him, though? Also interesting, but is Dragic the chess piece in this trade, or another one? Not sure Casspi or Anderson are worth giving up Dragic. Although it'd open up quite a bit of cap space in the offseason. Who would play point guard if he were moved? Also, did the Hawks deal fall apart? Horford would be even more vital if Bosh has to miss the next several weeks or the rest of the season.
I think the only way Atlanta deals both Teague and Horford here is if we add both Winslow and Whiteside on the trade.. Plus we have to match salaries so Dragic would be included.. Now is that worth it for a lineup of teague Wade Deng Bosh (injured) horford We would lack depth, im pretty sure Casspi is out the window we would not have the assets.. Deng is definitely not a long term guy and i think that takes us out of the free agency race.
Dealing Goran for Conley would've made a lot of sense. Otherwise yeah, have to get a solid return for Goran. It does make sense that he's the guy being shopped. Interesting that Hassan WANTS to be here, despite people talking about him being upset with minutes, touches, usage. Hopefully he keeps his head on straight if he wants to be here longterm...paying him big bucks is risky, as we've all discussed. Sidenote: Detroit's got a good thing going with a young core of versatile players...plus a good coach to go with it. They're going to win quite a few games the next few years. Bright future.
Bosh is not injury prone. this is just bad luck. 1 in 100 patients have it reoccur. Bosh has been very durable, and can be back. It is about not tying up ANY salary WHATSOEVER. Ryan Anderson expires at seasons end. perfect.
