I know the guy has had some issues but man would you pass him up if the money was right as a second option? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000641782/article/redskins-inform-robert-griffin-iii-of-release
No thanks. Never liked him and thought he was overrated from the get go. Pure running QB's don't last long in the NFL.

He's a real gamble as a backup for any team. For the Fins, where a large part of the fan base and media foolishly complain about RT17, its a disaster waiting to happen. We need to bring someone in - either a vet or rookie, who's a clear backup. Not a guy people will be calling for on Sunday.
My option would be to ignore him and wait until he starts selling cars. Then see if he can get me a deal.
I'm all for getting competition to push Tannehill, but this sort of move could cause more harm than good if Tannehill has a slow start because RG3 fans would be clamouring for him to start and Tannehill to be benched. I'd rather keep hold of Moore and go all in on Tannehill, and try to put the best supporting cast around him as possible.
Some quarterbacks are destined to play in the NFL. Others are destined to only be great college level quarterbacks. Robert Griffin III is the latter
i would take a chance with rg3... Ryan Tannehill isnt that good an atleast RG3 can run a lil faster... but if im the Dolphins i'll try n talk p. manning out of retirement and have him play a few more years. maybe one more as a starter n the other years as a mentor. The dolphins was interested in both RG3 and Manning n missed out on both of em the same year and now both could be available again.
Yeah, no. Not that I have anything against RG3, but I'd much rather, you know, get protection for Tannehill. Besides, if I was RG3, I'd head to San Francisco or some team who needs a QB that's worth a dang.
