Finster and FinD is like reading a bad X-files script. Where Mulder and Scully just argue wastefully. Maybe a touch of the honeymooners... fact is CJ Anderson shows up big in big moments. We'll be lucky to have him...
I'm not hating on CJ, I'll be glad to get him if we do, but Miller was better imo, and the jury will be out on CJ until he produces running behind our Oline, whatever that will be, because he was running behind a good one in Denver, and a good Oline can make decent talent look great.
To be honest, Miller has't truly put together a full season. Yes better than Anderson to date, but not a full season. Don't think it is all Millers fault but I also cannot hold Anderson at fault for not getting more playing time in Denver. Relax and see how this all plays out man.
Yeah, we're gonna miss Miller. I do think Anderson can plough through heavy traffic a lot better than Miller ever will. Denver could still match, though. I just think Anderson is better than you think. We'll see, but until then, "to the moooon! Finster"
Honestly shocked we didnt go after Forte. He did well under Gase. But then again Adam did work with CJ in 2014 so maybe there is a reason. Still think Forte is the more complete player.
Miller was great behind a below average line, while Anderson was ok behind a really good line..................
Considering their contrActs, Anderson may be the better option. People forget he was battling nagging injuries for most of Las year and the off line in Denver didn't really jell until November or so. Anderson was pretty effective at the end of the year. If we get a healthy Anderson and add some pieces to the oline he could return to his 2014 form
It's all a toss up. Me personally I didn't think Lamar is anything special, but I don't think CJ is anything special either. If Denver matches I will be fine with it. I think we can address the position with a late pick..
Last year: Miller: 194 for 872 which is a 4.5 ypc CJ: 152 for 720 which is a 4.7 ypc Miller scored a TD every 24.25 touches. CJ scored a TD every 30.24 touches. Is Miller better? Of course. Is he so dramatically better then you're making it out to be? No of course not.
So you factor OL play in when talking about Tannehill(almost every post too) but totally disregard it when it comes to Miller vs Anderson? Typical.
I think we have to understand the scheme were going to be running. If the coach thought Miller was a must keep we would have figured out a way to get it done. Lamar might not be a good fit for what we're going to g to do. Gase has intimidate knowledge of CJ and knows he can be a bowling ball. Nothing we can do now but see what happens. Lamar if I'm remembering right was limited a lot do to get nicked up shoulder when he got a lot of carries. Also I feel 100% confident CJ and AJ will be a great backfield for us!!!
Maybe the guy who coached him didn't think he was worth the money, ill take his word for it. Forte is older...
Miller IS BETTER But we can't hold him hostage against his will, or franchise him, he walked in free agency, nothing we can do...with the limited resources available after he left, we can do MUCH WORSE than Cj Anderson...Comparing him to Miller is irrelevant since we didn't trade Miller for Anderson....we signed him after Miller left.
I think CJ has better hands and less fumbles than Miller as well. Plus cost differential. If we saved 5-7 million in the swap and we manage to get a veteran offensive lineman with that cash than I'm even more impressed. Hey magical 2016 post number
I didnt see you mention anything about their OL's and the fact that Denvers was way better then ours.
They are both good at not putting the ball on the ground, CJ fumbles once every 132 touches, but Miller was a little better only fumbling once every 150 touches. CJ has been slightly better with drops, 1 every 16 rec, and LM 1 every 13 rec, but LM has caught a lot more passes as well, 59 for CJ and 117 for LM.
Cmon FinD you know that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Fully expecting you to burst through someone's door with a hatchet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
lol. Its just annoying though. I say Miller is better than CJ, then these two start in trying to argue that Miller is better than CJ, when I already said it. I hate what they do to this board.
No we actually said that you fail to bring in their OLs that they were running behind when making your argument that Lamar is slightly better than CJ when that is all you use in Tannehill arguments.
The Gerhardt comment was not mine it was another posters. I think CJ Anderson is an ok back. IMO its a backwards move, one that should have never occurred. But at least we have SUH and a guy who admitted he took last season off, and maybe a new guy who is 1/2 what OV meant to this defense. Maybe soon we can sign Brandon Weeden or Johnny football. Lets not forget the new linebacker with a ****ed up shoulder and the drop to 13. Lets not forget the regression at Grimes' spot. Going backwards and trying to then paint a rosey picture is whats asinine. But hey if it makes whomever feel all warm and fuzzy - have at it These years (this and the next 2) will be known as "The SUH Effect" Just for the record I am pretty sure no one is trying to purposefully make this finheaven. Maybe some people need to grow up a little and realize there will be differences of opinion and respect that instead of attacking each other like you just attempted to do to me because you don't like shegame13's opinion.
All these moves have nothing to do with what GACE is going to do. This is the SUH effect. Money Money Money ----------Money
Miller is better. How much better is hard to say but your whining when someone points out your flawed inconsistencies is what's annoying. The Broncos clearly have a much better Oline than mia yet Anderson still failed to put up better stats. The stats u tried to use to show they were close to equal without providing any context. How many rb had to deal with an oc that wouldn't let their qb audible? Therefore nothing negative can be said about Miller. Right? LOL
There's no flawed inconsistency in my stances. Saying that CJ put up similar numbers as Miller but Miller is still better, is not inconsistent with my stance that our oline has hindered Thill. In fact suggesting that, is flat out asinine. All I was saying is that CJ isn't as bad as you and your ilk are pretending he is. Nothing more.
Piss off. Just because you don't understand the difference between reading comprehension and English comprehension doesn't make my argument flawed, it just shines a light on your ignorance.
Miller is in no way any kind of a physical runner. In fact Anderson is a much more physical runner then Miller. Not to mention that Miller almost always go down on the first hit and never was good on short downs or could push through the line and always needed a hole.
No, the point was that a couple of posters thought I was making a different argument then I was making. They thought I was trying to say CJ was better or as good as Miller. I wasn't. But because they can't read and pull this kind of crap all the time, they think they formulated this epic rebuttal about our oline sucking and because Miller played behind it instead of a good oline in Denver that proves I'm wrong about CJ being better or as good as Miller...which of course I never said. Instead of being adults with testicles and admit they misread my stance, they chose to double down on being dbags, and pretend they weren't doing all that. That's what trolls with no moral fiber do. Its all there in black white on this and previous pages. They act like CJ is a horrible running back and I merely was trying to point out he isn't horrible. They went full *******. Par for the course.
so who is to blame for not signing him? If the Dolphins had made an offer last year he likely would have stayed.
More spinning BS as usual, more hurling childish insults because you got called on your BS, lol. This was always about you trying to marginalize the difference. Do you smash things when this happens to you? Do you keep extra keyboards around because of that?
