Doesn't seem like a parting shot. Its actually the truth since our offense under the previous regime was atrocious at getting him involved on a consistent basis.

I could be wrong but, I thought someone posted stats a while back showing the more touches Miller got, the less productive he was.

    Good for Lamar.

He also got PAID. That was likely a factor!

Denver should match. But if not, count me as someone very happy about this move.

For those interested, there was an interview on the Finsiders yesterday with a Broncos sideline reporter - his name escapes me at the moment - but he had some pretty good insight on C.J. Anderson. It's worth a listen.

I wouldn't call it a parting shot. He is right. Lazor was a clown.

Good luck to you Lamar. I actually thought you were brain dead for a few years, but your play the past couple seasons showed me the natural talent you had. It's too bad this franchise has no interest in rewarding it's own talent (sans a QB when there are no other options). The Dolphins habitually let guys like you walk and start the process all over again.

I hope you absolutely tear it up in Houston.

Lamar shredding that defense definitely left a lasting impression. They made a complete turn around after that game... Or first half, I should say.

Even if it was intended as a 'shot', I don't think it was aimed at the Dolphins as much as his former coaches.

He wanted to stay in Miami. He knows Gase would utilize him. Didn't work out. Good guy, good luck to him.

Miller was totally misused by the previous coaching staff. Fortunately for him, the Texans recognized this and rewarded him with a contract that shows they believe he is one of the top RB's in the NFL, which I agree with.

I don't blame him for taking the money and signing with a team which obviously wanted him more than the Dolphins did. Since I happen to also be a University of Miami fan, I will continue to root for Miller to have success in the NFL.

CJ Anderson might be an okay replacement, but going forward I think Miller will prove to be the much better RB, between he and Anderson.

Miller was the one free agent Dolphin I most wanted the Dolphins to re-sign and I think they will regret his departure over the next few years. Of course after the way he was treated by the previous staff, Miller probably just wanted out of Miami and there was nothing this new coaching staff could do to convince him to stay.

Philbin was fired, but his poor coaching and his inability to get the most from the players on the roster is still affecting this team.

I'll miss Miller. He was a good back and I believe he'll be even better utilized in Houston and be as good for them that Arian Foster was.

Um, go blame that to Philbin and Campbell... Adam Gase uses his running backs just fine and theyre very productive under him, don't take a parting shot on a team that took a chance on you. You got paid, say thank you and shut the **** up.

Here's to Miller having a great season b/c it would result in a better comp pick for us. Same thing for Rishard & Shelby.

if he wanted to stay, he would have stayed. He literally took the first non-dolphin offer he got and bounced. In no world did we not offer him a fair deal.

Houston offered him about 2 mil more per season, according to reports.

He's not a bad guy because he took more money.

You're right. Take the money. Miller was soft anyway.
Why are Dolphin fans still talking about this?
I've been saying for a while now he isn't good enough. :wink2:

If I offered you 6 million dollars to do with your body as I wished, would you take it over your regular 9-5?

    $6,000,000.00 cash.
