There's really no rules or reasoning behind who gets put in and when. All depends on if the wrestlers are on good terms with the WWE or not or if the WWE is saving them for a special reason like WM is taking place in their hometown, etc.

Wyatt is damaged severely right now. The best thing for him and his family is to disappear until AFTER WM. Almost to the point of people forgetting about them, and then making a random, surprise appearance against whatever champion he wants to target. At this point, Bray needs to win SOMETHING, in order to maintain some sort of credibility. Which is sad because he was as close to teflon as you could get, for awhile. Now...he is sort of a joke.

Speaking of teflon, Ambrose does not need to beat Lesnar in order to get over at WM. Lesnar should NEVER lose a one on one match with anyone, until he is ready to retire and pass the torch. Just have Ambrose virtually impossible to be pinned and take an amazing beat down, and he will be fine.

Well it is suppose to be a street fight. So in a street fight it is anything goes, which gives Ambrose a chance.

But in a one on one wrestling match in the ring, i agree, vince made Brock into this animal that cant be touched, german suplexed both ambrose and reigns for god sakes.. Brock should never lose unless it is to someone like The Rock. But even the Rock jobbed a match for Lesnar 14 years ago and lost the title.

Agree completely about Ambrose not needing to win. He just needs to look like a fighter that keeps getting up and refuses to quit ala Austin at WM13. That's why I said if the match is booked right it could push Ambrose to that next level.

And yes the WWE really screwed up The Wyatt Family badly. I really don't think there's any saving them at this point unfortunately. They are just a monster stable that gets feed to the upper mid carders. I think they really just over exposed Bray especially making him talk week after week. And breaking them up was a really dumb decision that did nothing for anyone.

Big Boss Man going into the HOF, obviously deserving. One of the best big men ever.

Stan Hansen and "Miss Texas" Jackie Moore will round out the Hall Of Fame Class this year.

Also, no Roman Reigns again tonight despite being advertised. Ambrose will be your top baby face in peril again tonight. Interesting. That is all I will say...interesting.

Balor and the other boys from the Bullet Club appear to be joining the main roster soon. Balor most likely after WM. Doc and Karl may join previously. I assume, if they do, it will involve AJ Styles.

I think the thinking of leaving Reigns off TV is for two reasons:

    1. Continue to build up the Roadblock Special this weekend
    2. WWE trying to see if Reigns is off TV for a few weeks when he does return will get a big pop (which I don't think will happen).

I agree with you though WM is 4 weeks away, it's interesting that Reigns isn't around.

Last week was always the plan for Reigns to be off. They obviously calle dan audible to keep him off this week too. The question now is why.

    Also...Sami Zayn. Neat.

Excellent RAW, in my opinion. Y2J with the heel turn, Vince McMahon actually did well in his role tonight for the first time in years, story lines were moved forward, and the wrestling was pretty much on point. Very linear episode that pushed forward virtually every major story.

If they can do this each week until Wrestlemania, they will have a good turn out of viewers.

Chicago crowd would have booed him out of the building. There was the perfect opening for him to return either during the Wyatt beat down or when Triple H came out. I know people are secretly hoping Ambrose is going to win on Saturday but I just don't see that happening.

Good to see Zayn on the main roster. I wonder if it will be Owens/Zayn or if there will have a multi-men match for the IC title.

Also the tag title match was pretty freaking good. I guess we are getting Jericho/AJ at WM now. I wonder where that leaves New Day now. Hopefully something better than the Usos or Dudleys. Maybe the Wyatts?

Maybe Enzo/Cass or Bullet club guys?

    Just tossin that out there.

Bray teasing the title rub when HHH came out was great and HHH sold that dirty deeds like a gun shot haha

Enzo/Cass would be great, especially if it's the opening match. I doubt you waste the Bullet Club for that though.

And yeah the Bray/Triple H stare down and Bray touching the title was great because everything should be about the WWE title.

Looks like WWE finally got the memo that Bray needs to have a DIRECTION to go in...even if it is slightly deferred until after WM.

Enzo & Cass debuting this close to WM is probably a mistake. I imagine they will be featured heavily on NXT the night before and MAYBE they make their debut at the event, if it makes sense, but my gut tells me the RAW after WM. They have been touring with the main roster for weeks/months now, so they are close.

    Lesnar/Ambrose
    Owens/Zayn
    Jericho/Styles

Yep...those three matches might be worth the price of WM, alone.

Meltzer is reporting that Owens and Zayn will be in the same match but it won't be a one on one match up, instead it will be a multi-man match for the IC title. Meltzer doesn't know who the others will be because the WWE keeps changing their minds daily.

I could see Bray being the first challenger for Reigns for the WWE title. It's a shame because once again Bray and the Wyatts would be there simply to give other superstars the rub.

Meltzer is now reporting it will be New Day vs. League of Nations for the tag titles, with the WWE wanting to turn New Day faces.

I suppose that makes sense. They are probably getting a bigger pop than anyone other than Ambrose or Lesnar right now anyway.

I just hope the WWE doesn't try to change a face New Day too much. To be honest with you I'm not sure their act works as "real" faces.

No one is booing or cheering the New Day. Its difficult to do that when they put you to sleep. If im a fan in the seats and New Day came up on the titantron, im leaving to take a long piss or food.

Meltzer is reporting that right now the IC title match will be a ladder match between Owens, Zayn, and The Miz. Jericho and AJ Styles will either wrestle each other in a one on one match or be added to the IC title match. And Ryback will face Kalisto for the US Title.

It's interesting that Ziggler isn't in the ladder match and that originally the ladder match was going to be a 6 man match. I don't think there's anyone on the planet that wants to see Ryback vs. Kalisto, ugh. What a waste. I would make Owens and Zayn a one on one match and have Kalisto face Neville, Ziggler, The Miz, Del Rio and someone like Stardust in a ladder match.

Good news is Meltzer is saying that plans are changing seemingly by the minutes and nothing is written in stone right now. Good to see the WWE has solid plans going into the biggest show of the year.

Back in my day, Vince planned Wrestlemania, and worked backwards to start the year. Now we're literally days away, and things are changing by the minute!

Christ, although it was fantastic, Seth was told he was cashing in and winning at WM last year the NIGHT OF THE ****ING EVENT! Reigns had his family front row and center to see his moment lol. How insane.

To be fair back in the day it was much easier to plan but now they have so much TV time to fill up, at least 12 PPVs, and multiple Network specials. They're just way too over exposed.

Seth being told he was cashing in the night of the event isn't that big of a deal. Either Vince/Company wanted to keep it a secret from everything and avoid leaks or simply just woke up that day and decided to do it. Ric Flair, on his podcast, told a story about how he was told 3 hours before the start of the 1992 Royal Rumble PPV he was winning the title, so that stuff isn't uncommon.

The problem I have is there's no direction to WM. The only two matches that have an actual story that makes sense (kind of) are Ambrose/Brock and Triple H/Reigns. And Reigns hasn't even been on TV the past two weeks because the WWE doesn't want to get him booed out of the building. Imagine that in their eyes their top babyface and next Cena is getting booed so badly that the WWE is keeping him off TV and trying to sell WM. It's unreal.

And don't even get me started on the Shane/Undertaker match because the more you think about it the more it simply doesn't make any sense nor have any direction or story to it. It makes no sense why any of it is happening. and the WWE knows it and isn't even trying to explain it.

But yeah, this has to be one of the worst builds to WM in recent years, if not ever. The whole card outside of Ambrose/Brock just feels flat to me.

Honestly the two matches you mentioned havent had 1/2 of each match on tv for weeks.

And oddly the two ON tv, that arent fighting at mania, ARE fighting on RAW every week....it's so backwards.

Agreed. And I only really care about Ambrose/Brock. Triple H vs. Reigns does nothing for me. Really Reigns vs. anyone but The Undertaker or Cena wouldn't do anything for me either.

Reigns being off tv is just ridiculous. And it's not like they don't "hear" the fans....Shane breaking a bit of kayfabe monday proves that....they just...don't care.

Nope. Vince wants Reigns to be the guy no matter what and he won't learn his lesson until he loses big money. Its funny because the WWE always says how they listen to their fans every week.

Allow me to correct you slightly.

Vince wants Reigns to be the guy in his (Vince's) image. Despite the fact that it was made perfectly clear that the fans would get behind him if they book how he's supposed to be (talk less, wreck ship more), Vince wants so bad for Reigns to be the next Cena, and it's not a good fit for him.

Well I think the fans would get behind Reigns if he actually had a character and a direction and of course if he wasn't booked like a chump. I mean the guy has been made out to be a choker since The Shield split up. And of course it doesn't help that everyone knows he's the hand picked guy but just simply isn't ready or really deserving. The crowd reactions for the guy are incredible (in a bad way) and he doesn't sell merchandise. Outside of his look what does he do that makes him so special?

Most people are sick of Cena but at least he sells a ton of merch and is a top draw for the company. Reigns is neither. But hey keep pushing him Vince, your track recorded for hand pick guys is always good right?

Cena at least has personality, Reigns is forced, fake, and his facial expressions/mic abilities are bottom rung. Sucks he's getting his moment, but hopefully this gets this out of the way, and Rollins will be back soon!!!

Yes and he's getting this big break handed to him instead of earning it in the fan's eyes and he comes off as entitled.

The good part is he will get his moment, tank in ratings, buys etc. and turn into the next Sheamus for the rest of his career because Vince will realize his mistake finally.

You mean having him leave the Rumble mid match under his own power via injury only to come back in at the end of the match and getting thrown out fair and square and just leaving the match again without causing a sink? Yeah Reigns has been booked awful for sure. And the scary part is this is the guy the WWE sees as their future. Its not like they are screwing around with a Zack Ryder for kicks.
