This will be on tonight @ 6pn et on NFLN. It's on the Path To the Draft show.

I'm just giving a heads up to anyone interested.

Now, you don't have to chime in before or after saying NFLN sucks, etc, etc. It's a national sports TV show. They all aren't going to get into depth with any team. However, they are certainly better than others like ESPN, etc.

When I return home from work, i don't want to go on a comp. I use them all day. I just want to chill for a mo on the couch and watch that old relic called a TV. For those who are similar...heads up.

The link will posted right after.

    Peace!

Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jeremiah predicted Reggie Ragland (LB) at 13, Christian Westerman (G) at 42, and Cyrus Jones (CB) at 73.

It was really good. We finally got Jerimiah and Brooks. They're the two of the best on the show. Also, I swear. Honestly, three of those guys I have been strongly considering for my mock. I was thinking about them before the piece came on and was thinking how it would be funny if they mentioned them. What a f'ing trip!!

I like Ragland a lot. He would certainly help our pourus run D. He may not be great in coverage. You would hope that the OLBs and Ss can help in that dept. We need that reliable thumper in the middle.

    C. Jones is the one DB I've had in my mock for awhile now. he hasn't moved. I think he can be a good play maker. Good in Nickel and a good returner.

Westerman can be a very solid Guard. Strong, tough and certainly a need.

Dion Jones is the one guy I hadn't considered for my mock, but I do like him and he could end up being a very solid player.

I've also been considering Dodd with the first, but I like these options.

    It was a good segment.

Shouldn't we be at 40 and 72? Those are the 8th pick in each round right???

Hoping this is an upgraded War-room. Much improved from the days of Jordan trade-up drafts.

Why would we take a one dimensional player at 13? Much rather see Darron Lee or Leonard Floyd. I don't think Tannenbaum will pass up a good corner prospect for a thumper.

Westerman? 300 lb guard? Started one season at ASU? I don't know anything about him, but this is the first time I've seen him mocked this high.

This mock is perplexing, I almost feel insulted.

Watch some film on Ragland. I would be happy with that pick.

I've been beating this drum since last year. Ragland & Kiko would be interchangeable. Both can play inside & out. Both are sideline to sideline. Picture "marcia brady" with his wimpy voice yelling out 50 or 59's "the mike" and guessing wrong.

For an MLB to be picked in the top half of round one, he needs to be able to play 3 downs, cover effectively and be a run stopper. Just don't see that in Ragland. Also question how he would be seen playing for any other team than Bama with an all time DL in front of him. Very wary of that effect. I don't see him as Willis or Keuchley level good.

I have... covering backs will be a problem unless he gets better. Run-stopper he has down pat.

Ragland needs work in coverage, but his sideline to sideline speed is underrated. Sometimes his motor isn't running though and he allows bigger gains than what should be allowed. Happened a couple times in the Tennessee game.

That's very cool bro. I had been thinking of having Ragland on the team for awhile now, but I haven't thought about it as much since the Alonso trade, but that is a very intriguing idea, putting Alonso on the outside. May work well. Kudos.

Yeah, he's no Myles Jack in coverage, but he does have decent speed and probably not as bad as some are making him out to be. IMO, we need that instinctive thumper in the middle.

To be fair this has been our approach to just about everything from drafting to hiring coaches to hiring GMs.
