I know this, albert hayneswrth was a difficult child, he was tamed by this dude, he also became the most dominant tackle in the game under his watch, then when he left for the money in washington, his world on and off the field came apart..
We'll see how big a part of the total defense it is, and how effective, but it seems that we have the right coaches on board to teach it, and if Wake can come back to what he was, he seems a great player to use in it.
What happened, thought his buddy Jim Schwartz hired him in Philly as his DL coach? Anyway glad he came, he really should be holding the same title here.
I've been a Jim washburn fan for quite some time. Glad he is with miami. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
I'd say that Phillips and Jordan are the x-factors. If somehow, God willing, they worked out, man...Miami would be in great shape.
More importantly to me, we have the horses on the DL (Hello Jordan Phillips) to make it work Downside is, you also need rugged athletic Lb's to cover for draw plays etc...not sure we have that
The least heralded and one of the best offseason moves yet. This is an experienced proven NFL coach. Something that will benefit this young unproven coaching staff.
