    If he turns out to something special, it would be such a huge boost and would be filling a big need for the D.

    This was like the only move we made in free agency that I could get on board with....it's a gamble, he isn't an experienced starter but he showed he could play, that defense started to play much better after he was inserted into the lineup the 2nd half of the year...I think I read he was PFF's #1 rated safety after week 10.

    Yup in all the worry about the cb's we probably have a steady competent FS for the first time in quite a few years.

    I hate to be a downer but don't we hear the whole "make a name for himself" story every year? Talk is cheap, be about that action boss...
