Forbes SportsMoney @SportsMoneyBlog Sun Life Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins, is getting an LED lighting system for 2016 http://onforb.es/1RWs2bi
Wow, I still love the painted end zones and the old style uniforms were awesome and should be worn at all home games when it is not 110 degrees on the field. I have a feeling that this is the year that we really start to turn it around...get all players to buy in and master their craft working on it all the time like Landry,Miller,Suh,Vernon, Wake and others do and draft Jalen Ramsey because he is always working on his game to make it better and these guys can help get the other players to buy in as well. We also will hopefully hit it right picking the Coaching staff and GM and all be as one.
The good news is that starting next year, we'll be wearing aqua at home for 4pm starts (however many that means) in addition to prime time games. I'm hopeful that its found that the new canopys provide enough shade on the field that we can wear them at home for most of the season starting in 2017. The sun studies that they did seemed to suggest that after September, most of the field will be in shadows for 1pm starts too.
Just awesome pics.... I wish that I could still do construction....I would have definitely tried to get hired on for the 2 year project.
Awe how cute. Look, it's a family of cranes out in their natural habitat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Love it. Would love to see time-laps of the cranes being pieced together inside the stadium. And can't wait for the awning to be up. Should really enhance the stadium noise as well as increase the number of fans willing to attend with all that shade.

Me too. The renderings look really beautiful on the inside.....and really terrible on the outside. So, we'll see.

Agreed. Looks like it could be the ugliest stadium in the league (or even in the history of stadiums) on the outside. But one of the nicest on the inside.
It will be such a long time into the future, if ever, that I see another game in Miami, that I'll likely never see another live at JRS anyways. So my total experience will be watching the inside on tv. But still, I want my team to have something nice and not an eye sore.
The WHOLE Stadium will be beautiful......Both Inside and Outside.......Great place to spend Sunday's......I am hoping that not with only the great stadium improvements, that along with it that Gase, and our WHOLE COaching staff starts to build a solid football team in Miami again where we can take our home field advantage back. I am really excited for this year all the way around...my goodness, total overhaul from top to bottom and inside to out. Website, TV, Radio, Stadium, Coaching Staff, New GM,......now comes the draft and I hope that we knock it out of the park with our picks. I really feel that we can have an awesome draft IF, it is a collaborative effort between the scouts, coaches, GM, and Tannenbaum. The only way for us to go is to build and develop through the draft, sign a few FA's maybe every year as needed, and of course the UDFA's always have great players that can be found. Also, it is very important for our coaching staff to be very good and keep them here for a very long time. I think the Gase hire is going to work out really good for us and I am impressed with the quality staff that he has put together. This is how we will get respectability back in Miami and become a dominant team once again.
They will make it...No problem....who knows, we might even open with 2 games on the road for extra time just in case. If so, opening with San Diego and LA might be good.
Id rather have those two late, and avoid cold weather games by traveling to buffalo or foxboro early. Either way, we'll have 2 home preseason games first.
I agree with that as far as cold games go...if they don't have to play here early September 1pm games then we should not have to go up there and play in frigid temp...i will say that we have been playing pretty decent, for us, for the last several years in cold weather, that is, compared to years ago...I will be so glad when we finally beat all 3 in their home stadiums again, the same year would be great too.
